@Wolgwang A different room created for discussing the DDoS.
@ShadowWizardHatesOmicron you got it!
Some thing I found in a school computer
# Is quantum computing {the next big solve-everything drug}?

*AI, artificial intelligence*. what comes to your mind when you hear this?

First a short introduction about the history.
{History of AI}

We had big and I mean **BIG** hopes about AI. In the time when AI was only theoretical (even didn't have a name), our use cases for AI was vastly different and broad than today.

Because of this, we thought we were going to have *different* meausures of succesability and how good a decision is. We were very blind in what AI would cater us - and I am not blaming ourself. Heck we even had conce
Lol was this student on drugs?

For anyone following me from my log in saga: Right now I am experiencing the bug, that means LIVE. Anyone want to reproduce: goto your mobile phones browser, clear cookies on askubuntu.com, stackoverflow, stackexhange and superuser. Now log in to stackexchange.com navigate to askubuntu.com. you aren't signed in.
OMG bonus bug: after writing the above message, I typed meta.stackexchange.com and there I was logged out. Then came to the den and logged out here as well.

@VScode_fanboy I have no idea what it is, who wrote it, and background, so really can't comment. For me it's just some text without any context.
@VScode_fanboy umm of course that if you clear cookies you lose the login. That's not a bug, that's how it should be.
Login is saved in cookies, that's why SE asking us to allow them to create cookies.
If you'll stop clearing/blocking cookies, all should be fine.
@Wolgwang well you can always add a new answer... ;)

@ShadowWizardHatesOmicron Nope, after clearing cookies I log in to stackexchange.com, then askubuntu.com should be logged as well, but it isn't.
@ShadowWizardHatesOmicron It is technically stolen material from a future-blogger :D. A student in my school did. Background is obviously free time in the computer lab.

@VScode_fanboy no, it can't. Different domain. Technically impossible to have same cookie for different domains.
Anyway about AI, personally I think it's just a buzzword with very little actually behind it, or at least waaay less than what most people think.
We're still very very far from having a code that can actually "think" on its own, which is the true meaning of classic AI.
All we have is code that is programmed to do certain and very specific things in a way that the programmers chose to call "AI".
But meh, I can't say I'm expert, it's all my personal opinion. And why they doing it? Money, of course. They say they have "advanced AI" and money flows.

:9110480dunno about the cookies but rene says it is! (Well not using only cookies)

A: How does one Stack Exchange site know that I'm logged in to the other?

reneOnce you get authenticated on a single site, the full.js gets loaded, which has a function UniversalAuth.performAuth() which gets called. That function starts with an XMLHttpRequest POST to /users/login/universal/request of the current domain. It doesn't take parameters but the browser does send ...
