@ZoeTheLockdownPrincess Basically, someone filed a bug report that "recent names" was showing in the wrong spot. However, they didn't phrase it very well, and the dev handling it thought that the report was that it was showing up at all, and so they removed it thinking it was unnecessary.

Though for an FR, you'd need to make a good argument of why to bring it back

And also convince everyone that the original bug report was about placement, not presence

In the meantime, chat works for that purpose, as old usernames are saved in historical chat records.
