@JamesENL actually, you can, if you have majority of people with you. That's the dark side and downside of democracy: people sometimes simply don't know what is good for them, and what isn't.

@SagarV hmm.... probably deleted post then, i.e. he did have 100, then answer with +2 deleted at some point. Unlike other badges, tag badges are revoked in such cases. So this is likely a bug.

if that's the case, the next badge should be downgraded from silver to bronze

Another option: user had the bronze css badge, with score of 100. He chose to display the silver css badge. Then a post with +2 was deleted, dropping him to 98 and removing the bronze badge, but the silver badge tracker is still in place.

So if he'll try now to change, he won't be able to. (i.e. to different badge then back to css will cause bronze css to be tracked.)

Quite a minor bug, it's really rare case.

that should be a bug because in tag badge, the [status-bydesign] is track the very next badge

Title can be "Tag Badge Tracker is not being reset when tag is lost".
