@FOX9000 informity

12:11 PM
it crashed
lol

... :(
): ...

@ShadowWizard no, it's because the linkedWords file was in a wrong format, which is expected on first run. Now that's auto-fixed.

@ProgramFOX huh. Still wonder how a file can change format.... didn't you just copy it all as-is?

you know that I forgot to backup the links, right?
There simply was nothing to copy as-is.

@ProgramFOX so 0 links now? I thought you meant only some recent links were lost... :/

12:14 PM
All links from the date that I ran the bot on the cloud, are lost.
but wait
I went to search for the links before that date
and I found those back

yay!

Q: `_pickle.UnpicklingError: the STRING opcode argument must be quoted`

liv2hakI have a text file that I am trying to picke using python pickle. tx b'88877343430010000000000' tx b'59343410000000000' rx b'344454320000000004' I am using the following python code to serialize the file.I am getting the following error. _pickle.UnpicklingError: the STRING opcode argument must...

that's not useful at all

Downvote the answer then... :D

it's useful in other cases

12:20 PM
But I fear I really got no idea...

but I think that the problem here is that I pickled it in Python 2
and I read it in Python 3

Well, you can undo the changes for now so we have the bot, remove the link and continue commands so it won't crash, and fix it when you'll have time.

meh, I can fix it now

Crazy idea.... what about asking the person who gave you his cloud to send you the missing files? :)

The specific cloud instance of mine vanished. Boom.
then again I still have the pickle version thing

12:23 PM
hmm... oh well. Guess that will do. :)

Yeah. Better than nothing :)
I only have to unpickle the file in Python 2, then re-pickle in Python 3
