@Martin Since some users are particular about not changing OP's writing, I came up with this compromise, as an unobtrusive method to include the bibliographic information. But it's not the ideal way to include this info, in my opinion...

So perhaps the arXiv frontend link could be edited - with some suitable replacement.
@TheAmplitwist @Martin Perhaps the link can be replaced with Andrés Navas's zbMATH profile? Other options could be his MathSciNet profile or Google Scholar profile. His homepage is currently at math.usach.cl.

@TheAmplitwist This search is what I get when I click on the author's name in some of his publications on arXiv. (I thought that would be a possible alternative, too.)

@Martin Oh, definitely. Perhaps that would even be the closest option to the original. Best would have been the author's arXiv profile page itself (i.e. a link of the form arxiv.org/a/*), but I'm unable to locate it (presuming it exists).

Yes, in the sense that is arXiv-related, it is the closest to the previous link.
I was unaware of something like "person's arXiv profile" - but maybe I just didn't notice it.
I'll have to go - I should prepare things for today's exam.

Sure, no problem!
@Martin An example would be arxiv.org/a/warner_s_1, as mentioned in arXiv's help section on Author Identifiers.

I just noticed that there seems to be a difference between how a post is rendered in the preview versus after submission when a tooltip contains dollar signs for MathJax. In the preview, everything seems to be fine, but after submission the dollar signs interfere with the text that is being hyperlinked. Just noting it here, will search and/or test this behaviour later...

Links to de.arxiv.org are more-or-less taken care of on Mathematics. I'll update the relevant post on Meta later...
Links to springerlink.com are also fixed (to the best of my ability) on Chemistry. I'll leave comments on the remaining posts a bit later...

Hmm, I am receiving the following message on Psychology & Neuroscience:
> You are currently suspended from suggesting edits. You will be able to suggest edits in 7 days. In the meantime, read about how suggested edits are reviewed and visit your edit history.
Well, since I was submitting my edits without creating an account, the link to my edit history in this message takes me to a 404 error page (it links to the user account with user ID 0).
I have been tracking whether my edit suggestions are alright or not, and I recall that they had all been approved. Assuming this is not a generic throttle on edit suggestions by anonymous users, I will need more information in order to improve my edit suggestions. For now, it's a week-long break. Hooray :)
@TheAmplitwist (Small typo in transcribing the image: it should read, "You will be able to suggest edits again in 7 days." The word "again" is missing in the linked transcription.)
