Regarding the edit you made, is it really necessary to have hyperlinks to the Moderators FAQ and Elections FAQ just to tell people that the question is not there? When I see links I'm tempted to click, but in this case it's clicking to go somewhere that does NOT have the thing mentioned
I recommend removing your comments there, by the way. Most of them aren't doing anything beneficial for you, particularly the complaint about downvotes.
@user1271772 It shows that you've done research and adds information for future users who might find the question - making it more useful overall.
... but you know what Shadow said on your other question's answer about how people vote on emotions sometimes? Your comments are going to draw negative ones... I really strongly suggest you remove them.
You can post a Reply of your own to specific message by clicking the small arrow (ENTER like) that appear to the right of the message when you hover over it.
Also useful when you want to reply to old message and not have its author be confused what you talk about.
@Catija good advice, but I'm afraid it might be "too late", i.e. people will now downvote this user's posts based on the past interaction.
@ShadowWizard Well, those comments will stick around unless they're deleted by a CM or the OP... damaging the future of the question. Just because it may be "too late" for the current group of viewers doesn't mean that people months or years from now won't find it useful.
@Shog9: I appreciate you telling everyone the list of some of events that occured, but there were some events that occured on the first question (meta.stackexchange.com/questions/312300/…) that I don't understand
Okay you can see that my first comment was "Why the downvotes? This question was never asked before, and the information is not given anywhere online!"
@user1271772 I think the first few versions of your post did make it seem like a rant. Most visitors on meta [citation needed] go there to vent frustration, so the community becomes trigger-happy. Everyone is annoyed by "oh, I was apparently treated unfairly, let me take time and write 20k words why this was wrong" and questions that seem like this get downvoted.
The question as it is currently is a valid one, and tbh it should would probably be better off deleted and then re-asked (and it would get a "better" score, I'm sure), but you can't delete it since there are other answers
@user1271772 maybe like you, they want to process what's been said to them before replying and need time... and maybe they just feel like they don't have anything to add so stay out. Nothing bad in either.
So jumping to conclusion like "They don't care", "They don't like me", is far fetched.
e.g. now I go to wash dishes then fold laundry. I leave the tab open so I appear to be in the room, but I'll be away. I won't reply to pings, but when getting back (or even tomorrow), I'll read them and reply if possible.
@Narusan: I guess it's not about the reputation, it's about the feeling of being ostracized/rejected.
And I'm trying not to bother about the reputation, but I need it to edit posts and stuff. I guess also the people with 23k rep get given a bit more benefit of doubt than I did I guess
If the "barrage" of downvoting was somehow limited, I think it would have helped in terms of my mental health and well-being: What I mean is if it never went below a net score of -5, meaning I can get 30 downvotes if there's 25 upvotes, but the net score never goes down below some limit (such as -5) then I would get the message that something in my question needs to be improved, but it wouldn't be like people continuing to kick my face when I'm already on the ground.
Then I would work on editing it, seeking advice and feedback, etc., as has been working for the first question (which seems recoverable because it's only -1). But for the question with -27, as you said, you've never seen such a thing recover, and if that's the case, what's the point? Shouldn't we try to make it so that bad questions can be recovered if people are willing to put some amount of effort into it?
