@Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. made a comment.. his question makes no sense, there's a missing part

@rene So, which bug should we actively try to avoid now?

choose any of them

What, the deleted:1 in search?

We are not allowed to search for deleted questions?
How sad.

that's... not a bug?

A: Arabic diacritic unicode characters break title links

bluefeetYup, you found something that is definitely annoying but it's not worth it to fix it. In the words of Jeff: The short answer is "don't do that", and the longer answer is "if you keep doing that, there will be consequences." I'll just reiterate what he said with this:

Here's another…

As tempting as it is to mark Unicode as a bug...

So basically a bug is defined as: "Any behaviour a mod could want users not to do, for any reason".

@rekire: would like to make the preview box loaded on demand

some of the reports I don't really care about

@Unihedron you mean by site? I had the idea to gray out sites where you have no account.

@rene This bug has already been reported.
But okay, whatever.
What do I have to do with it anyway? I don't have 10k on any sites. (Actually, 2k on ELL suffices, but that's beside the point)

@Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. Yes, so? Does that make exploiting it OK?

I successfully created two instances of drama in my first visit to a chatroom. I should award myself a shame hat @rene. Sorry for breaking stuff and please give this message to SOCVR dudes.

Oh, so me accidentally clicking on the link in that chat did not make any difference? (200 rep)

@HeidelBerGensis Thanks!

10:20 PM
@Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. OK, will do :D

@rene this one is pretty hard to exploit though
It's not like reducing user's reputation or breaking UI

I really don't care how easy or hard it is

I'm sensing a lot of apathy in here today

Fair enough, I just showed something that is already publicly displayed in MSE for all to find.
Apathy... googling

Knowing it exist is one, using it is something else

@Shog9 Apathy is a solution to all problems.

@bjb568isceilingkat wasn't it wet wipes not long ago?

Wet wipes are apathy. Illuminati confirmed.

@rene agree, in general. Thanks for posting the warning. :)

Say someone got your ISP's account details, and does something illegal (such as uploading some copyrighted material). Your ISP notices & contacts some media rights group as part of a request, & said group contacts your local Police. You haven't done anything wrong, but someone in your household has a BitTorrent client that they use for downloading/uploading legal & uncopyrighted content. In the eyes of the Police, ISP, & court, there's evidence linking you & them to the crime (although you're not responsible), and you (the bill payer) is fined $$$ for something you aren't responsible for. — cybermonkey 14 mins ago

Q: Router sends password plaintext: is this a serious vulnerability?

cybermonkeyToday I went to go & reset my router, but forgot the account password for the ISP. On the (extremely) off-chance of the password being present in the 'Password' field, I went to the appropriate page of the router's configuration settings (which is not secured using HTTPS) & found that the passwor...
