Yeah, I think I'm gonna scrap my rate limiter.
It sucks, especially in single threaded contexts.
Plan C... 
Post message -> If throttled return false and record time + throttle duration, otherwise return true -> If user calls post message method again, sleep while current time < (recoded throttle time +throttle duration) then post again.

Yes, it's just that horrible! Tuesday morning, right after I unknowingly left for school in the morning, we lost our connection to the internet. We have not had it return yet, but my darling neighbours lent me their Wi-Fi password enabling me to write this entry. I'm trying to make a JavaFX project to get graded. Wow this course went by fast! So, time to get back to the code.
