Odd. I don't get the noise, but I did get a "quoted" notification in Tavern

@LynnCrumbling By "quoted", do you mean that you got the "(1)" next to the link in the "other rooms you're in" part?

Odd.. THAT produced the noise.

And I had left the room.

@LynnCrumbling Yes, because that was a real ping/reply and not one with dots at the end.

Seeing two different things:

it got replaced with other dialog. A box to the right, just below the room occupants, providing the last message in sandbox.

Then ".." appended doesn't notify.
