I've gotten pretty good at knowing when I can send another message, so I hesitate a second or two before I hit enter if my next message is too soon

You should just add a counter next to the text area that says when it's ok to send again :)

i generally only get it when i say something and then want to paste a link

and the link doesn't go through

i generally hit the up key, curse, move to the mouse, curse a bit more, and click reply lol

@MichaelMrozek, i use gleeBox, but hitting the up arrow to retry seems the natural flow
