I've tried to check the configuration difference between both VM's and couldn't find any even the win7 VM has less add-ons

@Medi1Saif so it's something with Firefox... you can just use Chrome to browse SE, can't you? Problem solved. :)

but tht would mean using 3 different broswers

one for company stuff as FF has major problems

FF for my online search as I'm somewhat familiar with it

and chrome for SE

So use Chrome for your online search too, I also used FF in the past, and switched to Chrome at some point.

all in all, FF is just a bad browser. Tried it again recently... nothing there is better than Chrome. Just slower.

I try to get "friends" with it ;)

@Medi1Saif dunno, I use only Windows, with Chrome latest stable version. No fancy dev versions or forks.
