And then combine some other recipes for the 'juice' to cook them in, as the slowcooker does need some moisture added. Probably a using a meat stock and/or powdered gravy dissolved in water.
With more herbs/spices
Did I mention I am already really happy with having purchased the slowcooker XD
Eh, if they truly become health hazards there are a few dogs that I know that can use one. Otherwise, I don't mind, it's just the consequence of my own actions :P
@Tinkeringbell It's super great! I can also recommend an air fryer for cooking faster. Like, making sandwitches, cooking sausages, etc.
But I love me some slow cooked pork.
Annoyingly my problem is that I don't have the space to have both at the same time (well, not easily), so I mostly use one or the other. I might need to go get some pork and get out the slowcooker, though.
@VLAZ I have been considering a small air fryer, but I'm thinking I'm probably not strong enough to resist the temptation to just fry fries and snacks in it instead of healthy food. Also, I have limited space to store all sorts of devices XD
I did get a separate trolley to put the slow cooker on (will arrive tomorrow), which I can and plan to also use this summer as an 'outside kitchen'.
I'm getting a 2-pan induction plate for it too, just so I don't have the 'heat' of cooking in my apartment in summer.
I feel the pain of not having enough space. Same with me. At leat I can store stuff on top of my cupboards but using them requires switching things around. And I don't even have enough power plugs. There are 5 in total in the kitchen where I can place electric devices and even plugging more stuff usually requires unplugging something else. Like the kettle, or a phone charger, or the washing machine, or the coffee machine.
If I want to store stuff on top of cupboards, that would require getting out the ladder each time I need something XD
I do have enough plugs (4, with only coffee and kettle plugged in permanently), and the washing machine is in the bathroom so no worries about that one. :D
My main annoyance right now is the cupboard that holds the glasses and cups and stuff. It just isn't right... XD
@JourneymanGeek It's annoying. Like sometimes an apple will be really sweet and another time the same breed of apple will be more sour... and they look alike from the outside!
@JourneymanGeek I watched a video of a coffee enthusiast explaining stuff about making coffee. And they did get down to applied chemistry. Explaining how it's important to control all the variables for the coffee - use the same coffee, grind it to consistent size (apparently the motor grinders do inconsistent job), use the same temperature water, etc. Then start changing each variable to tune it for best taste.
@DavidPostill "It just isn't right" Not sure what exactly is wrong with it, but it feels clumsy/wrongly ordered or something but I'm not sure what I'd change/improve.
I think it's just 'not square enough'. Due to space concerns, cups and such are stacked on top of each other, making for crooked stacks. I'm considering getting an extra plank, but then reaching in and getting something from the back may become more of a thing...
They nest but don't stack neatly :P The bottom of the cups is smaller than the top so it fits, but then there's things like ears which make them topple over a bit
I cannot seem to find any information on how to draw a moderators/staff attention to applying a [status-declined] tag to a post. e.g., this post meta.stackexchange.com/q/383530/1242908 is tagged as a bug. However, following the link in the last comment takes you to a question which is [status-declined].
@ShadowWizardLoveZelda You are quite wrong and didn't get it at all.
They launched a gacha game in japan (while shutting down the previous version that was far more popular). Game crashed with low sales and will be shut down in May.
Still, they are trying to launch the western localized version THREE months before shutting it down.
And in this case limited time means "you can't use the game afterward and all your in game units will be inaccessible"
I know whales on gacha games ARE crazy, but... whaling out on something you can only play for three months?
Long time ago, the URL for this meta used to be http://meta.math.stackexchange.com - but it later changed to https://math.meta.stackexchange.com/.
In 2017 it was announced that http-links will be converted to https: Network-wide HTTPS: It's time
The current revision of that post says, among other...
@uhoh I think the way it's been done more commonly is mods asking a dev for a favor, no need for a new post. I don't think a meta.SE post has much more visibility (for devs, I mean)
There exists, internally, a search-and-replace tool for rewriting links. It's very simple; if someone changes their entire URL scheme, it's not much help. But for stuff like this, where we can simply cut out one consistent part of each URL and drop in another... It works pretty well.
If you need...
Also, many URLs are rewritten while rendering from Markdown to HTML, e.g. http:// links to Imgur - those are automatically converted
