@Feeds I suppose rene might be able to say more - I have posted an answer, I've mentioned his site: SE HNQ Feeds for Chat.
I think that the OP accepted my answer a bit prematurely - there are many users around who will be able to say more about this.

@Martin I think you pretty much nailed it. I don't think I have anything to add, except maybe that the HNQ Chat feed App doesn't report all HNQs. It only has 100 questions in its list at any given time where SEDE proves there are at least between 300 and 400 questions each day: data.stackexchange.com/stackoverflow/query/1412077/…
