Question... would it be possible to figure out how many URLs exist on a site that match a specific format? MO has a bunch of links that are invalid (~900 or so) but the old URLs didn't use perfectly consistent formatting, so the translation to the new URLs isn't clean without them manually handling some first.
But I'm trying to get an idea of how many I'm going to end up telling them to fix manually.

Q: Is it time to replace links to the UCDavis arXiv frontend?

Peter LeFanu LumsdaineThis question from March 2020 points out that many questions/answers link to papers at the http://front.math.ucdavis.edu/ frontend instead of at the arXiv itself, but that the frontend had been down a few weeks. There are c.600 affected questions and it looks like a large proportion of the links...

Looking at only the posts (not comments) I count about 900 links. Of them, more than 250 start with 00-06. And about 60 start with 92-99. So I guess that there are at least 300 links where it's unclear how to transform them. @AsafKaragila Wouldn't it be better to contact SE staff only after we know how the URLs can be transformed? Or is the intention to find out whether this is possible in principle and to deal with the problematic parts later? — Martin Sleziak Aug 25 at 11:22
Maybe Martin has already looked at this, so I'll see if he can help. :)

Need some quick help. This query lists the questions where the accepted answer is not the highest scoring answer, can we add a column counting the number of answers that outscore the accepted answer?
