It saddens me that culturally we use terms like "heart attack" so lightly, when many people have lost very close ones to that very real and very damaging event. :/

@TheforestofReinstateMonica It was qualified with "mini", so I guess that fixes it?

Although "jump-scare" would be an alternate, more concise way of expressing the same thing.

@TheforestofReinstateMonica my grandad had one. After getting hit by a bus.

@SonictheCuriouserHedgehog It's like people using the word "raped" in video games to refer to a crushing defeat. Just because they're using it lightly doesn't mean it's actually a light topic.

And I refer to heart attacks and bus factors

@TheforestofReinstateMonica It saddens me that everyone these days tries to control the speech of others ... but we've been over that and you only seem to rally for free speech when it is yours.

(Not that I'm advocating anyone censor their own language on my behalf. I'm against that as well. Just that the state of affairs saddens me)
@Tinkeringbell See above message :p

@TheforestofReinstateMonica My point still stands. I'm also saddened now by the state of affairs.

Oi. Don't get offended or sad on my behalf.

"you only seem" - But I don't try to censor others.
I can dislike a term or usage without wanting it to be blocked!

@TheforestofReinstateMonica By expressing the dislike, you're trying to get others to share your viewpoint... which in itself can be a form of rallying for censorship. So be careful.
