@Rob it is :/
I feel like OpenID sometimes make things a bit more confusing but that's just me
(I mean, what I'm i saying, I'm still using it either way)

@NordineLotfi uh
SE dropped openid support some time back

Rob
12:56 AM
@NordineLotfi It says that, which led me to believe that I was logging in using my Stack Exchange account, but it creates a new account.

@JourneymanGeek really?? That's weird...My account still use it somehow?
@Rob Yeah, i see what you meant

Rob
Using the new account loses all your bookmarks / edits from your original account.

@NordineLotfi SEDE isn't built off the SE/SO codebase
its a open source project

1:21 AM
@JourneymanGeek yeah :D you're right

@Ollie true, never denied my own MA-ness. ;)
@Ollie which of them? :D
@Rob no, because SEDE is an external site almost by all means. It's not using SE codebase.
@NordineLotfi maybe Google or Yahoo's, but Stack Exchange dropped their own OpenID system, replacing it with plain username/password system.

@ShadowWizardWearingMask actually - its more that they dropped external openid providers
yahoo might be dead but the existing log in options are all oauth2 IIRC

@JourneymanGeek oh, well, but still "one login to control them all".

uh
in the sense that java was write once, run anywhere

You can't use SE credentials to login in other places, that's what I meant.

ah yeah

Rude bot, it's not his place to judge what's good and what's bad. ;)

@KennyBOT hello

@ShadowWizardWearingMask 🚹
@ShadowWizardWearingMask wrong room?

@JourneymanGeek nah, we're modern in the Den. Only unisex toilets.
:P

uhm
The "outer" does not count as a unisex toilet.

@JourneymanGeek was hoping @rene forgot to disable Kenny triggers when joining here, but @rene rarely make such mistakes. :D

11:57 AM
ah

@JourneymanGeek how so? Anyone can use. ;)

@ShadowWizardWearingMask hhm, there still is this weird bug that Kenny listens in all rooms

exactly
I should have left the room before I signed off

But why pee didn't work?

12:00 PM
The listening goes OK, the direct replies don't

Hmm... Weird.

12:16 PM
sdc 🙀

@ShadowWizardWearingMask No such command ''.

Is there a way to sort questions by locked, or by community wikis?

@202324 just curious, but you seem to have giving many bounties recently :)

@Ollie he is, but @rene is a good master. :D

@ShadowWizardWearingMask meh, let's be honest: I'm burning all of my rep in bounties because why not

@NordineLotfi 🚽

@NordineLotfi everyone love toilets.
It can express so many things.

I love toil!

It let you be free for few moments.
@MetaAndrewT. toil in toilets!

Q: nl: How to start line numbers on the second line?

WolfThis is the standard output of ls -ln | nl wolf@linux:~$ ls -lh | nl 1 total 24 2 -rw-rw-r-- 1 wolf wolf 186 Sep 24 22:18 01.py 3 -rw-rw-r-- 1 wolf wolf 585 Sep 24 22:21 02.py 4 -rw-rw-r-- 1 wolf wolf 933 Sep 24 22:26 03.py wolf@linux:~$ Instead of starting the numb...

I didn't even knew nl was a thing in Linux
I used to do this with just seq or grep hmm

3:19 PM
grep.... learned about it during the degree...

@rene Thanks for the locked:1 search thing.
Why are posts that are locked and have historical significance un-followable?

probably because the route /post/{id}/vote/{votetypeid} has a line (if (locked) { return NotAuthorized(); }
Can a moderator see or edit which words are on the exclusion list for a site wrt HNQ selection? That are the lists mentioned here.

You know that sign before you log in to Meta:
Shouldn't that say posts, or answers and questions?
Could we change that to say "questions and answers"?

7:38 PM
questions don't rise to the top ....

No?

not a single Q/A page ;)
I don't think marketing blurbs need to be 100% correct given all complexity

Hmm.

If that was in the Help center then it might need an improvement.

Let me go find it.

@Ollie I guess that answers your 'tags question' regarding redundancy; different words for different reasons, rather than just tossing everything into the same bag: meta.stackexchange.com/tags/posts/info and meta.stackexchange.com/tags/deleted-posts/info

When you're awarded a bounty, will it show up in your reputation count on the profile page in blue?
Like the accepted answers show in green?

10:40 PM
I saw a "protected question" message in the web archive:
And it's showing that "the association bonus doesn't count" message.
Which is not present in the protected questions messages of today on Stack Exchange.
Why was it removed?

11:25 PM
@Ollie revamp of the post notices and banners.

11:45 PM
Telling people they can't do something even if they can't do something is unfriendly? O.O
