I'd guess that the owner of the room wants to keep it unfrozen. (Anyway, in this room the mods of Stack Exchange sites do not have special powers, so it's better to stay on the safe side.)
@Martin thanks, yes I prefer that even though @ShaWiz has a valid point in that the main motivation for having it in the first place is not current. But, then why not keep a base on meta.se chat.
