he, I'm currently trying to check through my old storage - I think I came across the (slightly internet famous) Drive of Impending Doom - its a drive I have that runs for a few months, dies then comes back to life with data corruption.... repeatedly....

Apparently I had a data dump at some point. Or I accidentally found the drive stack exchange is stored on (shhhhh)

On the bright side, my new ear cushions for my Bose headphones finally turned up, and they make my headphones feel like new...

I did purchase some earbuds as a stopgap solution (the old ones completely broke two days after I had ordered the new ones, and I wasn't willing to wait another three days for them to eventually turn up), and to solve the problem that caused the old ones to break in the first place (hint hint)

@ShadowWizard Probably historical. This room has a ton of users who have explicit write access, who haven't posted here in a while. (It's also used for granting access to gallery rooms.)

@GetAnswerWizard Not on Chat.SO or Chat.MSE, and only then if their parent site happened to be the one they were unsuspended on, etc...

Charcoal HQ routinely updates their explicit write access list with frequent contributors, in case a certain specific troll decides to disrupt the room necessitating for it to be put in gallery mode
