I'm happy to edit the title if that's what needs to happen but there aren't a lot of alternates I could think of. I don't want to play footsie with the title the way they do on SFF and M&TV to avoid spoilers for the very reason that a title that pussyfoots around the subject would further annoy people who click through and unexpectedly find themselves in a question about porn. I'd rather they knew what they were getting into before they click.

Sure, I just wanted to check whether there has been a precedent. It just irritated me that all of my flags (400 in the past 4 months or so) have been handled by two mods, all my close votes have been handled by the same two mods, all the meta conversations have been handled by the same two mods etc.

Mods are real people. If the work is being done, an inactive mod isn't an issue... unless the mods feel like they need help. But even in that case, they're more likely to add a fourth than replace one unless that one wants to step down.

Cooking had an inactive mod for more than a year before they did anything. And only then because they didn't even respond to emails or any other attempt to contact them.
