@ShaWizDowArd nothing at this stage. I'm forbidden from spending money on plane flights to see him, but we're still talking, so that's something

@ShaWizDowArd :P

2 hours later…
7:04 AM
@JamesENL forbidden by yourself? ;)

Well Zach said no, and I don't want to risk anything by defying that
There'd be nothing worse than flying half way round the world to have the door slammed in my face

7:49 AM
@JamesENL that is true...

So I'm stuck with just conversing now

8:40 AM
Well, better than nothing, I guess. :)

9:23 AM
@M.A.R. any reason you don't talk here any more? Just curious.

@ShaWizDowArd yeah
I hadn't loaded this tab properly
Well, I was gone for a week. I didn't talk anywhere
I was in a hospital

@M.A.R. ouch. Why? You OK?

Define "OK"
I will need dialysis probably for the rest of my life

@M.A.R. oh my... but what about kidney transplant?
"OK" is alive and not in pain, I guess. :)
Is this something you were born with, or has something happened? @M.A.R.
(e.g. some accident, strong hit?)

@ShaWizDowArd no one knows
@ShaWizDowArd we're trying to revive kidney function
Hopefully it won't get there
@ShaWizDowArd I'm OK

9:34 AM
@M.A.R. your kidney just... stopped working??
@M.A.R. how? Special medicine?
@M.A.R. good! thumbs up

@ShaWizDowArd we found out when there were crazy levels of urea and creatinine in my blood
I broke a record somewhere
Normal creatinine levels in blood are 0.7–1.4 mg/dL
People with bad kidneys have creatinine levels of around 5 or 6
A creatinine level of 20 gets the person in coma

And how much you had? 30?

My creatinine level was . . . 54.

omg
So you're a walking miracle?
:)
No wonder you're so yellow!

Normal urea levels are 20-something to 43 mg/dL
Mine were 389.

9:39 AM
O_o_O

@ShaWizDowArd yeah
No one could believe it. The tests were confirmed seven times

lol. I mean, sad lol. But still lol.
So they performed tests for a full week?

No, three days
I also ended up with anemia, and I got finally sick. So I had to take a test. That's when we found out
I had no idea it was my kidneys
I was in a hospital for a week, and 6 dialyses were performed

Now I'm in our pharmacy, but I would still need dialysis 3 times a week

9:43 AM
That sucks...

You can say that again

Hope you got medical insurance? Otherwise it costs tons of money, I guess...

It still feels like a dream

@M.A.R. That sucks...
Well, one "good" thing might be that you now get lots of attention.... :)

@ShaWizDowArd everyone here has insurance

9:44 AM
@M.A.R. good! That's how it should be.
What about school?

It's summer
But I blew the university exam because I was sick and I didn't do it
I have to redo it next year
