also, @Sha @Hex another project using same things is able to insert and read from a table. Its of different database and table. But, it runs fine with same connection string and everything.
@ShadowWizard umm....actually, visual studio needs some drivers to connect to mysql (I think so). My drivers are mismatching in VS2013 and it doesn't even show me to add a connection to mysql database. While it keeps showing me to use sql server database (from microsoft) continiously
@DroidDev if you connect via VS it's just a "bonus", the drivers are for the code itself to connect. If you want to manage the database, there are better tools than Visual Studio.
@ShadowWizard there is hardly anyone talking there. Its just 2 guys talking to each other. Another newbie asked a question, no reply to him either. People just replying to old messages.
@ShadowWizard these things make no sense to me. My company should have sent me to a 2 months training program before putting me onto this. The way they work is just childish
@DroidDev that is true. When I start working on something new I'm given "grace period" to learn by myself, getting help from the other programmers, with easy tasks in the beginning. No training program, but time to breathe and learn, usually I just do it with trial and error.
That said, connecting to database from ASP.NET should not be so hard, really not sure what's going on. Maybe later when I'll be off work I can take a look with TeamViewer? @Dro

@ShadowWizard actually, I tried same database in another website(which was working fine with another database). That's working totally fine. I am now trying to create a new website and use database in there. Will surely let you know if I need help :)

@ShadowWizard well....all the big companies around here ask questions from data structures and algorithms, regardless of your job description. Its because data structure and algorithms are useful, when we talk about speed of software being developed
