@zaq Nah, not that. That'd be too interesting.
For one of them I had to do something with equivalence classes.

user315433
Then, "prove that this thing is (not) a linear subspace"?

There's nothing abstract :(

user315433
Boo.

The first question is prove that the diagonalization formula gives a diagonalization.
The second question involves computing nth power of a 3x3 non-diagonalizable.
The fourth is polynomial regression even tho it wasn't mentioned in class. (of course I can still do it)
The eighth is worst of them all. DNE.

user202362
matrix in exams tend to stay in the domain of 3x3 or less, imagine how much fun you would have if it's 5 x 5 :p

12:24 AM
I've had that before. Thankfully, all I needed to do with circle the pivots when it was already in echelon form.

user202362
also, no questions on 'eigenvalues' and 'eigenvectors'?

That's what diagonalization is.
One of them is solving a system of linear first order DEs,

so it turns out node.js is awesome
why did i not bother learning this before
apt-get remove tomcat

user202362
because there will be an even better language coming out in the next few years and your current node.js knowledge will become mostly redundant

that's ok
i only ever knew how to write web applications in java and php. and php sucks.
it's so awesome though being able to do something in like 5 minutes and 10 lines of code what used to take me about two hours and a thousand server restarts in eclipse to do.
i have a pretty high fever right now so if i type words out of order just... move on.
because i'm trying to read what i just wrote and none of it makes any sense.
anyways, hi

Has there been a meta post about SO's VLQ review queue recently? It used to have 400+ reviews in it at a time, but in the past week or two it's been near zero. Was there a change that accounts for this, or is it just the new mods?

@Andy not sure, but the mods on SO did clear the mod queue as well
that might be related

I did hear that. Good job new mods.

As time goes by they will probably get tired of this and queues will grow back again, no worry @Andy
