An unintended consequence of the recent reform of LQRQ comments: the users who identify comments with "deletion reason" think they can't delete because the reason "not an answer" isn't there. meta.math.stackexchange.com/q/22807

Morning...
@404 Thanks for the notification about Android.SE election :)
I still have doubt if I can commit if I were elected; there's only 1 slot too, and I know at least 3 better candidates than me.
Well, in the end, I believe one of them gets elected, and "everyone" happy.

user315433
Right... now that Izzy is running, only very heavy weights need apply.

user315433
Like Firelord.

@404 If I had enough rep to vote there, I'd vote for Izzy.

You can easily find 25 posts to edit... e.g., take 25 newest questions.

I'm not sure how he made it this long without becoming a mod.

They didn't have elections since 2012.

@404 Eh. I could but that's a lot of work. :P

I wonder if there's a machine learning project that generates onomatopoeias from sound files.

But onomatopoeias are culture-dependent.. meow vs nyan (it would be cool though)

Sure, hence why ML is required rather than a one-size-fits-all-cultures algorithm. I assume there would be a calibration where you'd be asked to select some onomatopoeias from a known set of sounds to estimate your cultural preferences before you could get useful output data.

@AndrewT. actually, @Zacharee1 and we were discussing how horrible the chat sound on chat.stackexchange.com is, compared to here.
Pls give us this sound. Pretty please?

The "link only" thing is actually a pretty good example of a situation where the flag type either doesn't matter, or the post shouldn't be flagged at all, @Jarrod. In my experience, this notion that there are these brilliant answers out there that should nevertheless be deleted because they're "link-only" is... Kinda bunk; there are plenty of very-low-quality non-answers consisting only of a link, a handful of cases where the proper answer literally is a link, and a whole lot of terse answers that happen to contain links. No one argues about #1, human regexps flag #2 and bitter folk flag #3. — Shog9 ♦ 2 hours ago

Something like this might help for LQRQ too, because simply pressing Looks Okay on try-codeblock answers is a disagreeable experience.

Someone suggested in a comment in Tunaki's merge-the-flags question to give out a free downvote if the reviewers agree. I'd certainly use that on answers that I currently just Skip.
