Gah, I wasted so much time yesterday trying to import the stats for SE sites. Turns out all I needed was a URL parameter: =IMPORTXML("http://stackexchange.com/sites?view=list","//input/@value"). Without ?view=list the server shows that useless "grid" view of the sites, which I long forgot about. And its html source is similar, but has about half the data.

@JasonC I just figured out Jsoup had an actual XML parser, and it didn't just figure out if it was an XML or not. I wondered why it was parsing incorrectly... :P

@hichris123 Yeah. I think the XML parser was added later. The library was originally geared towards parsing poorly formed HTML.
