I'm taking your invitation to request features, like the one about the status banner. I'm not sure why the status can be in parentheses in the question in list view, but not in the open question, but you must have a reason for that! @BrianNickel Thanks for fixing the comment upvote issue referenced in the question above. That was bugging me too!

There's no real reason why we don't have [duplicate] in titles. We just never did it. That information isn't contained in the title but is instead put together with question metadata.

@BrianNickel It was a fresh upvote on a question, and that's the message, but now I can't seem to reproduce it. Situation: In Shoket's final comment on meta.health.stackexchange.com/a/27/162... He referenced meta.cogsci.stackexchange.com/questions/561/…... I have an acct there, but when I tried to upvote the question, I got that message. I tried a few times, then went to Safari to upvote the question.

Shadow Wizard suggested it might have been because op had never been to the Meta on the site, so just now I tried voting on different metas I've never been to before and it's working fine!

Note: The original feature request came yesterday from meta.stackexchange.com/questions/254208/…... but was duped to the one I asked you about, which is not fully a dup because it's a report from a previous app version, but I don't control the dup decisions :)

Weird. That's what I was going to guess too. On the app, we don't automatically create a meta user when you create a user, but there should have been a "Please Join" dialog on upvoting.

That specific error is there if you try doing something without permissions or if your session is broken.

If it happened in the last 24 hours, can you send your logs?

the iOS app handles it better too, if you're not logged in it takes you to the login page and takes you to the link, android does not.

@KasraRahjerdi cool! Must say that iOS app is tons better than android app. And lots of this due to @Brian - the best feature so far is the revisions list.

There are definitely people interested in working on mobile and we're working to create opportunities. I don't really know of bigger plans.
