A: How to quickly remove odors from the air?

Fabio SilvaIf you are in a closed room,without windows there is no much to do. Just wait it disappear from the air. If you are in a closed room do not fart on the air,because the only escape to it probably will be a door and if someone get in will be punched right on the face by the smell of your fart.Find ...

let's hear it for lifehacks
> "before you fart, open the windows, stay near it, aiming your butt to the outdoor and fart. Make sure that the wind are not pushing your fart inside the place"
Can we have an equivalent close reason, specific to lifehacks>> NAH - not a hack.

@FamousBlueRaincoat I know :-( I've been lazy about that and busy on other things. Domain registration is up, host went down.
but thank you

@LynnCrumbling I feel that the only way to determine if a question is suitable for Lifehacks is to already know the answer.

@JanDvorak It's a faux pas, but that's about it. The user isn't someone that is going to contribute to the site.

@JanDvorak The entire thing. It's like saying.. "Hey! I want to use Word in my app. No, not the OLE automation. No, not the classes. No, the whole thing! How can I do that?"
@Mooseman yep.
"Oh - and it has to be the LATEST version of Word."

Until Microsoft releases a stand-alone version of IE, I don't think that's possible

Q: Prevent all caps titles in Careers posts

André DanielCould we implement some rules about all caps titles in Careers posts ? We have the quality filter to deal with questions/answers in all caps on the main site, but there doesn't seem to be anything like that for Careers. This almost looks like spam ads especially in the sidebar like that, I don...

Thanks! First, is there any place in our profile (site or network) that lists the votes we've made on comments?

votes on comments... interesting.

Sue
They do count towards our daily vote limit, right?

@nicael Are you sure that's what she means?
@nicael I see comments, but not upvotes on comments.

@LynnCrumbling ah, votes...

No - upvotes on comments don't count.

user259867
8:53 PM
@Sue Comment votes have their own daily limit, which is 30 iirc.

It's just kind of a nod that the comment was useful.
I don't know if there's a UI to see upvotes on comments. Might need a SEDE query. Can anyone else confirm?

@Sue The Complete Rate-Limiting Guide is the ultimate source of obscure information about all kinds of limits.

Q: Should we have an ability to see others' consecutive days?

nicaelI ran into a user whose next badge was "Fanatic": This clearly reveals his/her consecutive days. Should they really be displayed to everyone?

@FamousBlueRaincoat That's a cool guide! I was just curious because I was in a voting mood one day on GL and got to my limit, and a badge:) using questions, answers and comments. I must have had enough without the comments.
@nicael That's an interesting question and a good point...

Q: Visited link on the main page has a confusing coloring

nicael In my example, green circles are put around those links which I didn't visit; visited links I circled with red. As you see, in the visited link only "modified" is colored, while the whole "modified X [secs/mins/hrs] ago USER_NAME" is a link. I think the whole visited link should be colored...

Why is there a suggested edit queue on MSO if there are no suggested edits allowed on per-site metas?
There are only 2 done today. I might be missing something.

Q: Why are suggested edits not allowed Meta Stack Overflow?

@gunr2171 Tag wiki edits.

ok, that's what I was thinking after re-reading the tool tip

9:28 PM
So? That does make it eligible for suggesting edits?

ok, so a < 2k user can only suggest edits on tag wikis, not posts. that makes sense

I'm trying to keep that meta post on meta btw... three people agree with me, 3 people close voted...

and that post I used as an example was probably a bad example. I just clicked a link at random from the home page

@gunr2171 Yeah that was what I was getting from this

ok, good

Jus blame Closey

that too
If Closey ever gets 3k, we are all in trouble

Yes, deep trouble...
I flagged the meta post for a mod
@hichris123 do MSO flags get handled quickly?

Yes, this is fine. Moderators are not on top of the Meta flag queue as much as the one on the main site, so it might take us a while to notice the flag, but it's really no bother to take care of stuff like this. Only mods and SE employees can add this tag, and it only takes a moment. Flag away. — Bill the Lizard ♦ Nov 21 '14 at 23:52
