Hi, is there any mod?
Q: Contacting team@stackoverflow for disown questions request

dynamicI would like to disown some of my questions from my profile, this answer indicates that contacting the staff is the only way: Question disowned by author/moderator I have sent an email to team@stackexchange, and when I didn't get any reply, I sent another email to team@stackoverflow requesting...

I sent a request to Stackoverflow team, Tim Post replied saying he will take that request, but since then I didn't got any reply...
@dynamic they take 6-8 units of time
* More than 15 days have passed since Tim said he will take the request
units of time can be weeks and months too ;)
lets change this duplicated around meta.stackexchange.com/q/247406/213575

Gone quickly.
My flag history on Webmasters, by most recent: "simple to Buy Fifa 15 Coins", "yet to Fifa 15 Coins lift", "transaction to Buy Fifa 15 Coins", "Mario to Cheap Fifa 15 Coins", "adhere to up to Fifa 15 Coins", "competitive in cheap Fifa 15 Coins", "jump out to Fifa 15 Coins"...
@Undo Fastest self-delete you've ever done? :P
People aren't complaining enough about audits.
Huh, this is weird. Anyone else getting "oops, something bad happened" on the first visit to a site's homepage (but not subsequent refreshes)?
1:21 AM
@Doorknob yeah, but refreshing doesn't help...
Of a different kind, but still spam: gamedev.stackexchange.com/questions/92705/…
@dynamic I just replied to your email. Give me a list of posts and this will go quickly.
@Braiam Borks on the first time, fixed after that, definitely reproducable for me. Repro'd on Puzzling, SO, SU, and Cooking in that order without fail
for me only MSE
1:22 AM
SU, too
Just got "Oops" on Math. Never had it before.
ok, apparently if the referrer is empty it does appear
on MSE and SU at least is like that
> The world’s largest programming community is growing
Is this the headline of press-release, or of a static about page? Also, it's not obvious why I should care if I'm not a programmer.

Huh, this is weird. Anyone else getting "oops, something bad happened" on the first visit to a site's homepage (but not subsequent refreshes)?
It randomly occurs many times on same site though. Still okay since it's useable
@Doorknob no repro
@bjb568 Yeah, it seems to be fixed now.
@HoboSapiens gone

> the set of matrices of this form form a subgroup
@bjb568 So, should be "forms a subgroup". Or better yet, "is a subgroup".
Not interested. But I edited the title of question to drop it from the Hot Network List. Hate clickbait.
1:49 AM
Multiplying constant matrices and constant vectors gives again constant matrices and vectors in the appropriate blocks, there's nothing really fascinating on that. What is much more fascinating though is the number of upvotes this question takes especially due to the fact that the claim is wrong for $m>1$. — Algebraic Pavel 2 mins ago
@AlgebraicPavel Successful clickbait is successful. — Fundamental 52 secs ago
Q: Brand-new triage audits need comment trimming

Nathan TuggySo apparently triage has audits now. However, they don't take out comments like the other queues do, so are kind of obvious most of the time. This should probably be fixed.

Triage has audits now; a whole new queue for people to complain about.

People aren't complaining enough about audits.
1:56 AM
good, wait until robo reviewer complain on the new audit :p
@AstroCB Audits don't show comments? Didn't know that.
@Doorknob can't for the first one. Y'all need to work harder upvoting me.
@bjb568 Ok, I'll press the upvote button twice! See, I'm working harder to upvote you.

@AndrewT. good. Searching first is the mark of a wise tag reviewer.
Posting a burnination request for a laundry list of perfectly good tags OTOH...
A: When to burninate

Shog9Before you start doing anything, put a little bit of thought into the request: Does this tag even need to be burninated? There are a lot of burninate-requests posted to various meta sites that are... To put it gently... A complete and utter waste of everyone's time. Some folks will seemingly p...

no, because they're still crap. What if I have a question about a specific event? [javascript-events] is a pretty awful tag.
@Braiam lol
@Shog9 Those look better than a lot of audits I've seen.
@Shog9 I think new is worse.

@hichris123 ugh, burned it
2:25 AM
@hichris123 Makes you wonder what people thinks tags are for
@Doorknob I bet you want some new questions that are tagged new. Oh, are those not new enough? Have some new new questions!
@Shog9 I'm actually in the camp of "why the heck we will have a tag for each function/method" camp
Yeah, if you're using a function, it's searchable.
But it doesn't categorize.
From the sidebar of the SE blog. Ugh.

(It was waiting for the second new question from that site, conserving API use)
are "should be improved" and "looks ok" considered the same for triage audits?
3:35 AM
I doubt their considered the same, but I guess we'll have to wait for some "i failed this audit" posts for like clicking should be improved when there was a couple obvious typos when the audit just wanted click looks ok, before we can work out any kinks.
Doesn't @Mooseman suck at audits?
@bjb considering how he doesn't even look before crossing the road , probably
can't read good, it's now leasing .. utter fail
i suck at chat :(

Q: Origin of "You all meet in a tavern..." cliche in fantasy roleplaying games?

RobertFWhere does this silly (but fun) cliche come from? I couldn't find a definitive answer online. @Doorknob all drupal posts trigger an API call immediately.

@AndrewT. plz send teh coffee
@SmokeDetector sorry don't have
I'm betting the API call was made and the API didn't have the post's data yet.
4:21 AM
Im going to make the bodychecker wait 30 seconds to make the API call. Does that sound okay?
If it improves reliability, why not? :)
I think 15 seconds should be enough, but either way. Sounds good. Will also avoid trigger by pre-edit version of post.
Not sure how often the API updates, @Fundamental.
@Braiam why not?
4:27 AM
What benefit exactly does it offer?
Some time later I'll try science with API.
science is fun
4:36 AM
@bjb568 why?
it's short and has a question mark in it, doesn't mean it needs deleted
it's crap
it attempts to answer the question

That's… not an answer.
I see it differently
