To sign out of bjb568@gmail, I needed to go to /users/logout, I guessed the URI from a meta post. Obviously, a "log in" or "log out" button is impossible. Instead, there's the terrifying "account list" which I think merged the accounts in the first place.

@Andy Oh I actually did find a way. There was a [ Lookup a user] link somewhere in the ACP that took you to a page where there's a bunch of different fields that you can earch by, and one of them is IP.

One of the users I gave admin access thought it'd be fun to edit the stylesheet and change a bunch of colors, and I had to figure out who it was. xP

It has to do with the fact that Stack Overflow has a lot of user tags to process (or something) so there is a big delay.

There was supposed to be an update a few months ago that improved the performance back to a daily update, but maybe things are slowing down again.

As for another topic, Stack Overflow tag wikis can often contain a lot of useful information, so why don't they get better page rank in Google search results?

MSO has no problem updating user tag scores, so it must definitely be a scaling problem with Stack Overflow.

I think questions closed for those reasons get a fast track to hard deletion. I remember it was some inane question about running jQuery plugins in vim.
