@bjb568: I start thinking that high-rep users are the worst on SO, at least some of them. :D

5:40 AM
why is there no delete vote reason for VLQ with regards to "update your question"? this seems to be quite frequent.

@LaszloPapp do you mean the "should be an edit" one?

yeah

5:58 AM
@LaszloPapp Yeah.

6:09 AM
@JanDvorak: it would be nice to have since I see that happening frequently the ops post an answer instead of edit.
not sure if it had been discussed in the past, nor do I have the energy level right now to check it ...

If you haven't already, downvote question and answers here.

Well… g'naight.
BTW, when there's a "the last message was posted…" thing, the transitions while posting are really awkward… Make somebody fix it.
:P

@JanDvorak not sure it's programming at all

better now? :-)

@JanDvorak now it's more brown, yeah :D
oh, OP deleted it

Q: How many eulerian circuits are in K2,n?

user3502046Hello I have been asked to find a formula of how many different Euler circuits or as it also called eulerian cycles are in K2,n. for example in K2,2 you have vertices a b c d so there is only one cycle possible, in other words adbca is the same as cbdac. thanks from advance :)

Let's keep the account page open, expect some more spam...

are the profile pages ajaxy?

In what sense?
For the subtabs that might be true...

as in, do they update the list of newest posts by user automatically?

@JanDvorak nope, as far as I can tell profile page is totally static

9:15 AM
:-( thanks

You're welcome

This question appears to be off-topic because it does not appear to be a question. — Mat 1 min ago

@Mat I use unclear for that

@Mat yeah, it's spam. Flagged as such.
It promotes a product "SAP Crystal Reports" for Visual Studio

@ShadowWizard true. Flagged

9:24 AM
I also voted on the other questions of that account (including some answers)

@rene chance it got hacked, we can't know

I don't think so given the fact that the OP just updated the question to make it a tool recommendation

@rene oh, lol... poor user.

Is -7 enough to get you q-banned?

@rene I have heard no reliable rumor of such a thing in either way

9:31 AM
Is this NAA or just low quality?

@rene it looks like an attempt to answer to me.

OK, I tried to rescue the question...

Lol apparently I'm a file format.
I saw this on a website:
> Converter DOC For input, Word and ProgramFOX
> MS word lets 2007-2010 to ProgramFOX

10:38 AM
Wow, 3 "binding" spam flags! I feel so strong :D

11:06 AM
@Manishearth the bot's down

Oooohhhh, just learn how markdown works you lazy spammer!

@JanDvorak I think baba killed it
with black magic.
bots don't have good protection against voodoo. :(
@rene I think he's well aware of it, just trying to dodge the auto spam filters.

Well, if we come to the point where all spam is unreadable to circumvent the filters I guess we succeeded...

not really. Me must make the phone number unreadable. To humans.

11:31 AM
@JanDvorak The bot has been turned on in this room.

@ProgramFOX when he's active there he's active in here too, just compared his recent messages. In there he's configured to post when started that's all.
So it means he's down, probably some internal error, server down etc

@ShadowWizard Ah, so he doesn't post a "SmokeDetector started" message here?

@ProgramFOX nope, never did.

@ProgramFOX nope
@ProgramFOX The status messages are spammed onto the other room only

hey @Manish long time no see! Busy busy?

11:35 AM
yes yes
Summer of Code stuff

@Manishearth Ok, good to know. Thanks!

and then programming club stuff
and then physics stuff

s="[ [SmokeDetector](https://github.com/Charcoal-SE/SmokeDetector) ] SmokeDetector started"
room = wrap.get_room("11540")
roomm = wrapm.get_room("89")
room.send_message(s)

and then hackathons / etc

@Manishearth oh, your life must be interesting then, @Manishearth! :)

11:36 AM
Interesting, maybe, but also very hectic :p
Gonna go to a MozCamp this month

it would send the start message if it did roomm.send_message(s)

@Manishearth good!

(next month for all you barbarians on the wrong side of the world)

Now go revive the poor bot, @Manish! :-D

I did, didn't I?

11:37 AM
Oh

eh, nice!
So should we test it? ;)

It used to report it when the bot died, better fix that

@Manishearth in case of unhandled error it probably can't report
or if the power goes down for the server for example

@ShadowWizard not that way. When ws.py exits, report.py is called with a "stopped" message
Bash-level magic
because usually the error is a dead websocket or expired fkey or something
usually some network thing, actually

11:40 AM
@Manishearth so can't it retry after a while?

@ShadowWizard It can't retry in the same script, a new script will fetch a new fkey/etc
I need to start logging the errors again. ChatExchange is supposed to handle most errors for you, but I haven't gotten to that stage

\o

I used it to destroy Ur Quan ships

Should I have kept clicking? ;)

let's play Space Invaders

@TGMCians or dup as mentioned in the comments?

you can here OP asking "if anyone has a tutorial "

Mat
When did the close banner start floating above the comments?

@TGMCians no, you can't here ask

@TGMCians OK
A crap question with 2 crap answers already...stackoverflow.com/questions/23980095/…

1:09 PM
@Mat yup, looks like a fresh change! Feel free to ask on MSE... :)

What do I close this as? Do I close it?

I would close as Unclear
Because that will give the OP a link to how-to-ask once closed.

It's clear though, it's easy to find out the problem

Myeah, no. The OP asks: I have this linkedlist here, please implement the delete function for me...
It is unclear where he is stuck, what the issue is.. I doubt he debugged it...

Damn. I want to reject a ton of edits from the reopen-edited queue :-<
Oh, the sweet smell of revenge when you report a crappy reviewer: stackoverflow.com/review/suggested-edits/4954176

3:29 PM
@JanDvorak done...

thanks

@ShadowWizard ... what did you do?

though changing the loop from upwards to downwards was kinda unnecessary
is this kind of stuff too minor? stackoverflow.com/review/suggested-edits/4954255

@JanDvorak Yeah, I checked back here to see if you really meant approve ... :-)

@rene the brackets are needed, though

3:32 PM
yeah

@JanDvorak I'd say so

@Bart done

@JanDvorak looks like invalid
It changes the namespaces, doesn't it?

@Bart what you don't know can't hurt you! (well, me in this case ;))

... that doesn't sound good @ShadowWizard.

3:34 PM
He flagged you...

Sounds sensible @rene, but still.
So tell me @ShadowWizard. I'm curious

He found your sockpuppet....

Q: What's the best source of information on the DLR (.NET 4.0 beta 1)?

Jon SkeetI'm currently researching the 2nd edition of C# in Depth, and trying to implement "dynamic protocol buffers" - i.e. a level of dynamic support on top of my existing protocol buffer library. As such, I have a DlrMessage type derived from DynamicObject. After a little bit of playing around I've man...

@rene , well, I'll be joining you

hehehe poor mr Skeet....

5:14 PM
wow, 28 posts in the LQRQ

[ SmokeDetector ] All-caps title: MAKE FOOTER REMAIN AT BOTTOM OF PAGE on stackoverflow.com

Hehehe I googled a possible solution to a question and poked the OP to try it himself and he did. I have no clue how he solved his problem because I don't do Windows Phone Development....

@rene I've voted to reopen stackoverflow.com/questions/23981768/… , I don't really understand why it was closed as unclear?

What is not working then?
Error? Same value in the db?

The new title is mine, I couldn't think of a better one but it's an improvement at least I think.
I've changed it to "Decreasing a value with a named parameter doesn't change said value" now
Anyway, I think it's a clear problem to someone familiar with the combination C# and MS Access databases.

7:45 PM
Hmm, well...I'm familiar with MS Access and c#...OK...
2 more votes needed

I'm not personally, but if I was I do think I'd quickly notice that OP is using named parameters and that apparently doesn't work :)

... there. :D One more vote, though...

But I can see where you're coming from @rene

@rene You spelled "and" wrong. :P

Tnx!
With turkish already in that question I can switch to Dutch without anybody noticing...

9:56 PM
why dont we delete answers like this?

@ColeJohnson What's wrong with it?

there's 31 answers and almost all are good.
if i just flag it as VLQ, would it go into the Low Quality queue?

I thought VLQ was for 'try php lol' type stuff.

that too
but we don't need 10+ answers all saying the same thing.
there was a discussion on MSE about it
I can't believe this question isn't here on MSE (where it should be): How exactly does Stack Overflow work?
;)

10:18 PM
Just copying of another answer (make sure it's posted well after) qualifies for a mod flag. The low quality people aren't going to look at other answers to check for plagiarism.

10:39 PM
?
Flagging spree:
Ignore the OSKBD...

... please don't do that.
Just flag the post or one comment as other.

You guys need a new hobby

@hichris123 I've been told (by mods) to flag each comment because it's easier for them

@ColeJohnson Well, if it's all comments, flag it like I said. We have a purge all button. :D Otherwise, yeah, you're right. It's hard to dig through and find out which to nuke.
@animuson around?

@hichris123 and with questions like those, there's some comments worth keeping
