@Frosty I recommend that you get a thicker skin and pick your battles. It's not important, none of those discussions are, and the possibility exists that you were wrong or misunderstood something.

Maybe not "blatant", I was frustrated after dealing with him all morning, but "There is no way to logout of the chat" is not correct, and he knew it when he said it
Mine has been, but I keep using the same one and it auto-associates with the others, so it could just be copying my display name from the other sites automatically
I use my own OpenID provider and tried when I first set it up to provide a display name, but I couldn't get SO to recognize it. I'm not sure if that was SO ignoring it or me not providing it correctly though
