Looks like a car to me. :P
@JourneymanGeek nah, mean deleting their spam, as, well, spam. ;)
@ShadowWizard That's not a car, that's a monster truck.
This is a car ;)
@Tinkeringbell That's not a car, that's a cute toy.
:D
It's a car. One that actually fits in parking spots and such :P
Well even a bus fits in parking spot. ;)
07:51
Gooood
But those big cars really are a problem over here. Infrastructure just isn't made for them. And I'm a firm believer that we don't need to have infrastructure for them either. No one needs a car that big. Even 'refo-busjes' (mini-vans for those Christian families with lots of kids) don't need to be that wide, they never were.
A Fiat 500 will get you pretty much anywhere you want to be too, and if you don't have kids, it has plenty of space for you, passengers and cargo.
But.... but... space, room for feet... place for the wine... TV screens...
:-P
If you want room for feet, go ride a bike.
And prefer to stay alive. :P
Well that's easier if the biggest killing machines are taken off the roads, not by adding more of those.
Those big cars have 'dead corners' you can hide half a school class in.
07:58
@AndreasmovedtoCodidact no a Toy Yoda isn't a car.
08:20
@Tinkeringbell that weird realization that ponies aside we share many other ideas..
I guess that one could say "that is just being reasonable, huge cars are an idiocy" but... that is still something very rare.
@ElementsInSpace you are annoying @AndreasmovedtoCodidact more than me with this one.
Let me help you.
long ago someone made this.
it was never finished though.
08:37
:-D
09:32
was discussing on another room, went to google to see if anyone came to the same conclusion. As expected, they did.
@Tinkeringbell be careful: considering the average amount of research Stack does before acting it may not be safe to post an article that looks like the ice cream was made in 2021 (look at the picture, they don't read) and claim that was when "you were a kid".
Next thing you know, they ban you for "not meeting the 13 year old requirement"
Yeah, I'm actually a very smart 3 year old.
You're really seeing problems where there are none.
09:55
10:11
Woof?
@SPArcheon unless you're american, they did ban kinder surprise ...
10:23
in Sugarcube Corner on The Stack Exchange Network Chat, 56 mins ago, by SPArcheon
People in America may be safe for once because of a very stupid law that thinks that kids given a surprise chocolate egg would 99.9% suffocate themselves.
@SPArcheon Meh, the 'complete the set' thing that you're talking about there was already there when I was a kid. Egg toys would come with an 'instruction manual' that had the other set pieces on the back.
10:39
@SPArcheon the issue isn't the chocolate, it's the toy with small parts.
> While Kinder Surprise Eggs are enjoyed worldwide, they have also been linked to at least nine deaths of children who ingested the toy inside the egg. These incidents serve as a grim reminder of the risks associated with the product.
@ShadowWizard hence why I wrote "surprise chocolate egg"
@Tinkeringbell I assume you saw the full discussion then? Well, if you notice that is exactly my point too.
@SPArcheon Not enough to pick up that you were talking about the past too, and not only the present. Oh well, continue then :P
@Tinkeringbell yep, it started as a chat about compu gacha, they I just said something like "compu gacha is illegal yet if you think about it chocolate eggs surprise sets or stickers album collections aren't much different"
this one been particularly relevant,
in Sugarcube Corner on The Stack Exchange Network Chat, 1 hour ago, by SPArcheon
> For example, let’s say potato chips containing random cards of different types A, B, C, D, E, F, G are being sold. The card itself falls under “prizes”, but it is inexpensive and not excessive, so it is not illegal.

However, if there is a system where you can get another prize by collecting two or more specific cards, it falls under “Card Matching” and becomes illegal. In other words, it is random which of A to G is included, and it is subject to chance, so it can be said to have the nature of a “lottery”.
if anyone wants the full article, the source is there
> And in the process of completing, the first card that came out is A, and gradually, cards other than A, cards other than AB, cards other than ABC… the target becomes narrower, and it becomes difficult to collect all the items.
However, because the target items are easy to get at the beginning, it is easy to think “I might be able to do it”. This easily creates a psychological state of “next time, next time…”, which can be said to stimulate a gambling spirit.

@ElementsInSpace Cute!
@AndreasmovedtoCodidact (it’s cursed)
@AndreasmovedtoCodidact nice try, you skipped the video just below.
13:49
...and this is perfect example why it's bad idea to migrate crap.
It's going to be closed as unclear on the target site.
Crap should stick to the site it's posted in, and get deleted.
If the OP somehow gets better and can ask it properly in the proper site, awesome. But it's super rare anyway.
(on MSE it can be evenly closed as specific to one site or unclear, doesn't matter.)
!!/status
hmm so why you appeared as leaving?
!!/location
oh well.
:D
@ShadowWizard 99% of the time the user won't bother making a new account on the migration target anyway, so the question will end up abandoned.
And even if they create an account AFTER the migration, by now the question is assigned to user97858942823489985389567348 so it is STILL abbandoned
14:09
So, if you are a singer but newer showed your face in public, can you still take part in a fan handshaking event?
Japan: just put the singer in a box.
14:54
@SPArcheon in that case OP is already a long time member on the target site, and it's a meta question. Still crap though, and should have just been deleted. (it's totally unclear what's being asked there.)
@ShadowWizard You mean it is poorly written?
Then we MUST keep it.
poison the LLM it shall.
@SPArcheon this, and the core of the question itself makes no sense, something about why reviewers are also close voters.
(maybe OP doesn't know close vote is part of review?)
Anyway, mod left a comment on the target site, and it'd be likely closed there.
15:30
There’s deer in the meadow next door, making horrible noises. What should I do?
Depends.
Either bark at it, or hide under the bed
Depends on what?
Whether its normal horrible noises, dying horrible noises or bambi is out to avenge its mother horrible noises.
It sound like a horngry moose.
try not to look like food, or a girl moose then
15:41
as for the original question...
15:54
@JourneymanGeek Dude, you can't just assume the horngry moose's gender or sexual preferences like that! This is the internet!
16:45
R.I.P homepage...
@SPArcheon oh hey, what about me? D:
I can't lose my crown! :D
17:02
In the spirit of the last conversation: I am absolutely not sorry, not even a shred, not even the tiniest scrap of apologia; not a mote of beg-pardon may be drawn forth from me, no matter the abuse to which I am put. @JourneymanGeek are you proud of me?
plucking a feather from @Slate
runs away with it
17:49
@SPArcheon Disney.
@JourneymanGeek Why, I ride my Toy Yoda all the time.
@Tinkeringbell Now, this statement is annoying me. Would you like to borrow my legs?
@ShadowWizard That's a a very distinguished man in his suit.
@Slate I'm so sorry.
@ShadowWizard Why, make an arrow to hunt her with, so you can safely pluck the rest of them, too.
@ElementsInSpace Keep a distance.
18:41
@AndreasmovedtoCodidact Sure. Can't say when I'll return them though.
I'm usually the kind of person you shouldn't loan stuff to, unless you want to get rid of it permanently
@Bella_Blue - Why was this question closed as no longer reproducable? I've just confirmed that it's still an issue. — Mithical 8 secs ago
:/
I don't think that someone realized that chat still has its own specific mobile UI and not a responsive UI.
My mistake, thanks for the catch. I thought I'd pulled out all the [mobile-web] + [chat] issues already
No harm no foul, just didn't want it to be overlooked :)
18:50
Appreciated :)
19:43
@Tinkeringbell You can have them.
Yay, free legs!
Should I be concerned about why you want them?
Nah. Loads of perfectly normal uses for extra legs. Like blocking knitted socks!
20:01
It sounds like I should be concerned.
You wanted to get rid of those legs anyways, so why be concerned?!
@Slate hmm? But Bella did it, is this your sock account? ;-)
@Tinkeringbell It's like when one sells their outdated military equipment.
@ShadowWizard Yes.
@AndreasmovedtoCodidact Oh. Well then I want them because they're military grade (and free) and thus presumably better than any cheap Chinese import stuff.
military grade = cheapest and worst
20:15
Still, free is better than cheap and worst bought somewhere :P
Actually, they are more annoying than useful.
Okay, it seems you are reluctant and reneging :P
They do fine as cannon fodder, though.
They serve the same purpose as cardboard tanks.
Look functional, but don't work.
Hey, that entirely depends on what kind of functionality you expect from a cardboard tank!
Most people seem to expect them to work flawlessly like any other tank.
20:34
Nah. Legs don't ever do that.
You should tell them.
Well, per my previous message then, to all the people.
Broadcast it on the radio.
20:51
Too much effort, this'll have to do

2 hours later…
22:38
@Slate maybe a little
22:54
hm
Its maybe lost in the front page flood, but could I have some eyes and hopefully some reopen votes on this? meta.stackexchange.com/questions/335026/…
23:33
Apologies.
It would leave the wrong impression if I left a vote.
@JourneymanGeek Yeah that might've gotten lost in the sea of updates they're processing
Reopen-ifying
23:49
that's why I threw it here
:D
