@AndreasmovedtoCodidact Sorry, I don't know the relevant technical details. I'm basically just guessing. Presumably, the Chat software itself hasn't been touched. But something that Chat depends on must have changed, and the CDN seems a likely culprit. I expect that they're still fine-tuning the Cloudflare config, which would explain the 1.5 month delay.

It is fine if you make a (fan or new) product advertised as such and change the premise to work in another genre or troope (for example, a steam punk remake of Transformer, or American McGee Alice)
It is not fine if you make a "parody" that is just a masquerade outlet for an hate video (see: Smile HD... or even better. DON'T)
It is not fine if you take the characters some made and turn them into a clownery of themselves while pretending to be accurate.

a story is born out of a personal dream. Those characters are something someone often made for themselves before sharing them with the world. So you should show some respect. They may be fake but that doesn't mean they can't be important for someone.
