@Spevacus ping
Do you mind if I discuss a flag? Its not particularly sensitive + I don't really have the space to do so in the flag handling reasons thing?

@JourneymanGeek Go for it! It's definitely one I'm fine discussing.

@Spevacus I'm annoyed at people being pedantic about 'no longer applicable'

I feel that.

while 'historic' people are going to come across the term, so explaining it is DOUBLY RELEVANT since many users won't have been around when Jeff was running the place
I don't think strict pedantic technical correctness is more important than 'people will find this useful'

Right.
I figure locking it seems fine, because it preserves it without opening it up to closure and potential deletion (no roomba but)
Then again

2:27 AM
I don't like a historical lock here since the post was posted post Jeff

This is kinda my first rodeo requesting a lock so

and has an answer reflecting that it was asked after he left
And as such is a situation current and future users will face - seeing Jeff level access and being confused

Well

and its entirely plausible, since the future is an uncertain thing, we'll have another BDFT in future with Jeff Level Access.

There's only that Q&A on Meta SE atm mentioning "Jeff-level access"

2:28 AM
naw, its something I've seen thrown around on chat and elsewhere

Oh hey, it's here as well

unless they git rid of all the oldtimers.

Hmm
Well
I'll go ahead and retract then. I think the way it stands is fine, and I see you've cleared the CV's

Oh, it needed my attention
I'll mark it valid

I think I beat you to the punch
Idk if you can retroactively do anything to it tho

2:31 AM
I had the flag handling window open
so... race condition! So much fun! Vote twice!

woot woot
thanks for bringing this up in here :)

np lol
Other than that flags in theory are confidencial

Yeah I'm fine with stuff like that one being brought up for sure :D

I was searching through my old questions and found an old tag rename request I filed in 2018:
2
Q: Rename [google-openid] to [google-account] here

Sonic the Save Ukraine-hogThe tag google-openid has to do with logging into SE with a Google account. However, said login path no longer uses OpenID since it's now deprecated. The tag is still relevant for questions about signing in through Google accounts via the new path, though, and a question about it just cropped u...

I feel like this is a clear-cut case, so it would be nice if a mod did it.
(At the time, Meta.SE just received a mod team, and most were still being onboarded)

@SonictheSaveUkraine-hog well, personally I don't see any reason doing it. I'm not against it, so didn't vote either way. Only two people agree it should be done. Hardly "clear-cut case", I'm afraid.
Also, can ordinary mod rename a tag without bumping? I don't think so, it's a staff-only tool.
Just curious, what made you search through your old questions?
@Spevacus your flagging behavior is now recorded! :P

7:03 AM
@ShadowWizardSaysNoMoreWar Yes, they can merge the tag into any other tag, even if the target tag doesn't exist.

7:29 AM
@SonictheSaveUkraine-hog well, most I can think about is flag then, explaining why you think it's "clear-cut" case, but there's good chance your flag will be declined.

o/

7:45 AM
things getting fuzzy here xD

@Luuklag you mean fizzy?

Whats in those straws?

@Luuklag air? :D
Otherwise won't be a straw ;)
But yeah, that's just sugar, with fruit flavor. lol

Oh lord. I remember those things, they were horrible XD

@Tinkeringbell my daughter love it, though she doesn't like chocolate so it's balanced.

7:56 AM
Does she end up with the plastic tubing so chewed up, nothing more comes out even though the thing is still half full? XD

We have those things to make strawberry milk, when you stick them in milk
my daughter loves those

8:13 AM
@Tinkeringbell I don't check actually, thought it's edible as whole :D
(like ice cream cone, you simply eat it after using it, or while using it ;))

Oh, then they're not the ones I remember. Those came in some kind of hard plastic casing that had to be cut open. Same color scheme though!

9:07 AM
@ShadowWizardSaysNoMoreWar Can you please add meta.stackexchange.com/questions/239527/… as a duplicate target to meta.stackexchange.com/questions/379924/…? Per the author's comment, they would have self-closed the question as a duplicate of that if it weren't for the question already getting closed for a different target.

heh SU profile still showing up though you nuked it

10:25 AM
@JNat another cross site spammer, starting to build a small backlog. ;)

10:41 AM
all gone

11:36 AM
@Tinkeringbell lol! That's what I recall of these too 😂

Apparently this were different things...

I used to go crazy for these wax sticks full of synthetic liquid goodness

We had these:
You'd end up with one very slobbery sticky mess... but somehow they were gooood.

@Tinkeringbell lol

This seems like an excellent FAQ candidate: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/374186/…

Eh, do you really think it will be a frequently asked question?

Maye it's frequently asked on a rare event of mass graduation?

Well its a great answer, that very clearly explains most/all questions people could have when their site graduates.
Oh lol, I already commented that this Q would be a good FAQ back in dec 21
If there would be a good answer this would be a great FAQ article. — Luuklag Dec 17, 2021 at 20:26

2:19 PM
Really hyping yourself up there, Luuklag ;)

definetly am
There must be a dupe for this, right? meta.stackexchange.com/questions/114639/…

I don't know one off the top of my head but I'll help look.
Potential candidate: meta.stackexchange.com/a/367872/622284 Really it's the answer by Glorfindel there that makes it a decent candidate.
Also, tangentially: meta.stackexchange.com/q/15241/622284 and meta.stackexchange.com/a/323129/622284 but they might not be good dupe targets

yeah that one by glorfindel looks fine.
Good thing to clean up the tag when burning it ;)

If you want to climb the career ladder to architect roles, you’re going to have a broad base of competencies. Whether it’s in cloud, security, or data science, we break down how you can land architect roles and the skills you need to learn to pay the bills.

I've forked and modified a couple of queries using SEDE for use with burnination requests to track moderation history about the tag in question. This one tracks deletion after a given date (the date in that one is the date that Glorfindel posted the workflow burnination request) and this one gets all undeleted questions that, at one point, had a particular tag.
I'd love to merge the two but I haven't been able to figure out how to grab a deleted post's post history and see if it previously had the workflow tag.
Ah, it seems that the post history for deleted posts are scrubbed.

@Spevacus yep. You only have votes and postlinks for deleted posts

@rene Sad day indeed.
