@glo meta.stackexchange.com/review/suggested-edits/81825 It's their question, don't edit in a partial answer.

@Rob hmm yeah I rolled that one back.

I think this is spam seed: What’s the best place to buy crypto themes? the account claims to be of an seo [sic] expert

yeah poof

@Rob meh ... the question was already bumped, and one can never stress often enough that SE is not a forum. So I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but I have no problem with the rollback.

@Glorfindel I feel if you thought it was OK then an edit by an unprivileged edit should correct all the problems; so it would have been approve and improve edit. I won't touch the first paragraph (Google translate mashup) but the prior sentence, part of the same paragraph: "I found that many of them have such names for meta-stack exchange, some are a game, some are wireless cinemas and some are e-book cities." --- Which are wireless cinemas or e-book cites, none of them.
@Luuk πŸ‘

I'm pretty sure its impossible to fix

Rob
Put it back into Google translate and recover the original. πŸ˜†

I google translated the name and I'm just as confused

@JourneymanGeek it already has 2 del votes

yup
I just woke up so...

9:08 AM
I also have a strong feeling this has been brought up before: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/375617/…
but perhaps roomba ate it because it is so unpopular
ah found it

@JourneymanGeek this.

you need to understand the question to fix it. If you're asking the difference between math(overflow/exchange) and meta - the tail part of it... makes no sense

Rob
@JourneymanGeek Purple bamboo shallow street - My fixup is here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Purple_Bamboo_Park - they have purple bamboo and the travelway is shallow; plus it's in the local area.

Its not even clear if OP is asking about the difference between math sites or a math site and a SO site
@Rob I am no more enlightened.
Only OP will know

Rob
It needs another edit. πŸ˜€

I put it out of our misery

@JourneymanGeek dupe of this which links to that, I guess...

@MetaAndrewT. how that is phrased reminds me of Uncle Roger

A: Any chance of MathJax in chat?

Ilmari KaronenAs a workaround while this request is pending, there exist several client-side workarounds that can be used to enable LaTeX rendering in chat, including: ChatJax, a set of bookmarklets by robjohn to enable dynamic MathJax support in chat. Commonly used in the Mathematics chat room. An alternat...

I have installed Chatjax++ on Greasemonkey but it is not working.
Am I missing something?
@Wolgwang It is enabled.

perhaps you can find help on stackapps?
or have you tried turning it off and on again?

Sometimes you need to refresh the page, if you just installed it.

10:02 AM
@Wolgwang looks like you got it worked already?

@Luuklag Yes.
@Tinkeringbell Yes I tried that. It didn't work.
@MetaAndrewT. Nope.

TIL: accepting an answer does not count as an 'action' in the First Answers review queue: i.stack.imgur.com/gqf5v.png

@Glorfindel but it says you have taken an action

I don't think so? Otherwise it would've allowed to choose 'Other action' - that is grayed out now.
(Later, I upvoted the answer, and that enable the Other action option)

11:50 AM
@Glorfindel yeah its grayed out, but the text there says you took an action, or does it always say that?
oh yeah nvm it always says the same text

This is a nice found bug on the new homepage: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/375081/…

Try vote up and immediately unvote up - see if that lets accept squeeze through alone.

Interesting note: This question is now ranked 4th on the worst meta questions of all time: meta.stackexchange.com/questions?tab=votes&page=6411SurpriseDog 16 hours ago
Could a meta mod add &pagesize=15 to the end of the URL in this comment? The link doesn't work if the page size is at any other setting.

@doppelgreener why would you want that?

12:05 PM
Because if your page size is 30, there is no page 6411.

@doppelgreener No. Such comments add nothing useful at all, and should be flagged no-longer-needed instead.

I think it adds useful perspective.

They're just meta-commentary, noise that becomes outdated eventually and that drowns out the few constructive comments users seem capable of leaving on such posts...
At the very least editing them is just a waste of time.

Rob
Switch your pagesize twice (and all other parameters) to get each parameter added into the URL; overriding the default settings others are using, allowing the URL to be shared or reused by you if you change a setting.

12:12 PM
I wasn't asking for it to be kept up to date.

Fixed.

@Rob that's a good way to get the page size for linking purposes

Rob
That's what people in SurpriseDog's position should do prior to sharing.
That happens to Tabs too.

@doppelgreener tbh I don't really like comments like that.
I know we all hate the changes but that seems unnecessarily hostile

1:27 PM
@JourneymanGeek fair

Huh, there's now a minimum limit of 15 for page size...? since when it's added? :)
or actually, users cannot input other than 15, 30, or 50 now.
which I guess made sense, since there's an incident of someone posting a link with pagesize=1 and some meta confusion of why they only see 1 question/page on the questions list...

lol
Wasn't it someone doing it so you opened that on a link...
and were stuck on pagesize 1?

yeah, something like that
apparently this one

Q: Default page size when searching is 1 instead of 15/30/50

user247702I first noticed it earlier today at work, and now on my system at home, that the page size when searching defaults to 1 now. For example, https://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/c%23 shows me 1 question per page. Has this happened to anyone else? Was the default page size perhaps set to 1 by ...

and also... this...

A: How does SE remember my preferences without a POST but just a GET?

I was logged out of SE.
I joined a room say [this](https://chat.stackexchange.com/rooms/13752/mathjax?).
I clicked "logged in" and it redirected me to meta login page.
And after submitting the credentials there, it redirected me back to that room (with some numbers in the URL `https://chat.stackexchange.com/rooms/13752/mathjax?_=1304610XXX`
I turned on desktop mode and then it redirected me to Meta.SE homepage.
Is this intentional or a bug?

I can't even reproduce it, so I can't tell.
