nah, that's just NaA
I delvoted
it is a case of an underaged user, though
although unregistered so I wouldn't worry about it

@tripleee -6 but still up

-7 and counting

MWHAHAHAHAHA..... quiver in fear, ye fools.... for soon ponies will invade Bricks too, and it is too late to stop us.
@Tinkeringbell (also, pretty of a coincidence you just posted that :P)

my little pony lego's?

9:20 AM
Looks like duplo's to me

@Luuklag "Bloks", one of the many "You won't believe this is not Lego" offbrands.

@SPArcheon ah fake chinese crap
probably toxic and cancerous

And bugged.

@Luuklag Oddly enough, Alfred Carlton Gilbert was American....
@Tinkeringbell And Cyberpunk wasn't made in China ...

@tripleee maybe consider slowing down a bit with these? There's a reason Smokey has a 5-minute delay before posting here; we don't want to drown out all other conversation here. I have nothing against posting when something isn't getting deleted, but circumventing the 5-minute delay doesn't feel like the right approach to me

9:25 AM
sorry, I imagined the delay was shorter, but that explains why I was a bit quick a few times
8 minutes now:

poof

thank you kindly

Unrelated request for input: Am I off-base for disagreeing with duplicates in the comments of questions, as I did here and here? I feel that at times, duplicates close votes have been somewhat overzealous, and I wish to provide a countervailing viewpoint.
However, one user has consistently ...let's say, chided... me in the comments for doing so.

I certainly go wrong when hammering stuff sometimes and appreciate when somebody pings me to discuss, though of course there are situations where it's just a miffed OP who thinks closing their question violates their humanity

@RyanM no, I don't think there's anything wrong with what you're doing

9:35 AM
@RyanM Nothing wrong with it. It a.) ties messages together b.) if you make a convincing argument maybe the original voter will change their mind (though in this case.... :P)

@Tinkeringbell Should I flag passive-aggressive responses for removal? I've done so in the past when they've escalated to straight up insulting me (e.g., insinuating that I'm not a fluent English speaker), but I'm never sure where to draw the line.

@RyanM I think you can. Unless it's making a counter-argument to your arguments, they're basically 'no longer needed'.
(I'd wait a bit with those from today though, just to make sure the conversation about such pings being okay is read ;) )

@RyanM the line is where you feel uncomfertable. At least they are no-longer-needed, perhaps offensive

(oddly incompetent) phone support spam (SD report) superuser.com/questions/1700336/…

@tripleee gone. @journey, user for you to nuke
And while your at it, there is a MSE and SU spammer here: stackexchange.com/users/23996287/optimal12?tab=accounts

9:57 AM
Both gone.
While waiting for the bus

10:54 AM
^ 1-rep user, all the products are frequently seen in spam; I certainly flagged

11:27 AM
@Luuklag this user's a weird one

@RyanM yeah not really spam though, just random garbage

@Luuklag yeah, went with R/A under the "posting nonsense is abusive" rationale

Rob
@tripleee I wrote to explain the policy (with links) of one product per answer and why it's best suited, and to avoid an unreasonable number of suggestions. They must have a lot of side-jobs for which they are not compensated, to have posted that without referral links.

Whatever they're doing/testing/creatively-poetically-interpreting doesn't belong on SE.
(were it just the one I'd probably just call it NAA and delete it, but across multiple sites is abuse)

12:31 PM
Hi all
This room's been frozen for inactivity: chat.stackoverflow.com/rooms/18165/wpf
Can a mod thaw it out? :)

You would need an SO mod I think

Should I flag my question for a mod?

@Alex just find a mod on a SO chatroom I think

How do you find a mod?

They have a diamond ;)

12:39 PM
Generally mods don't like being pinged in chat about issues that could be handled with a flag, though

Better than finding one: You can flag one of the messages (flag for moderator) and explain you'd like the room unfrozen. One will come to you when they have time then :)

12:51 PM
@Alex I think I was a bit vague XD Flag one of the messages in the frozen room, not this one :)
Chat has three domains: chat.stackoverflow, chat.stackexchange, and chat.meta.stackexchange. Not every moderator has moderator powers on every chat domain :)

@Alex For SO, you need an SO mod so flagging a post on the chat is the best solution there
on main SE, there's a room called the assembly that would work

1:41 PM
@RyanM some mods more than others... ;)
@Alex well there is a SO mod that doesn't mind being pinged, she's often pingable in the Den.

2:02 PM
@Rob what you need it for?

@sha no vacination v6?

Rob
@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 That's how the tea is made.

@Glorfindel (not related to the message I am replying) three moderator card edits in a row, what's so special?

@VScode_fanboy you can view the edit diff by clicking on the "edited 2 hours ago" on the post - all three changed to

^
I'm afraid some lost soul in the future will think they can ask questions about business cards. And we don't have a [diamond-hats] tag either ...

2:14 PM
I'm ing for an to order - ideally, one with a good and no red .

@RyanM sorry, was so lazy, I have a exam.
@Glorfindel lulz.
@RyanM If tags are used like that - I won't ever attempt to explain why that is incorrect using of tags, I get the idea.

@VScode_fanboy Heh, that's a bit of an exaggeration for comedic effect, but ...not by a whole lot.
My absolute favorite use of tags is that I've seen at least one spammer tag their post with .

2:27 PM
@Tinkeringbell No worries. I flagged one of my messages above before you replied :)
@JourneymanGeek Yeah, this post talked about the Assembly but the room had no traffic for days

2:44 PM
Well I understood your comedic effort by saying:
> I get the idea

That "exaggeration" was for if someone actually use tags like that.

:D

@Alex Its one of my regular rooms
so If I notice I'll help in a day or 3 on the main SE chat

3:02 PM
@JourneymanGeek Thanks!
Someone unfroze the room! I wonder who ;)
Zoe! Thanks, Zoe

3:17 PM
@Glorfindel considering there's no more mod business cards, now have there been for all but the OG mods....
Might be worth considering finding a master that's says they aren't given out any more and closing them against that

3:33 PM
@Luuklag not even 4th for me, only people above 60 can get it. :/
But from what doctors say, unlike with the Delta, additional booster isn't helping against Omicron, so there's no way to stop the wave with vaccines like we did before.
Just have to wait it through, probably couple of months.
@Rob hmm... green tea?
@Alex hehe, that's the mod I meant before. You can find (and talk to) her in the Den.

Rob
4:24 PM
@ShadowWizardHatesOmicron No, the one I replied to, here is how it's used: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bergamot_orange#Tea_and_other_uses
@ShadowWizardHatesOmicron You are in luck (?), since Fizzer says that the previous shot gives some relief after three shots and they are working on an Omicron specific version that after three more shots will provide full protection.

4:44 PM
@ShadowWizardHatesOmicron Thanks!

this is currently doing some decent damage on the Bridge room...
have fun.

5:01 PM
@ShadowWizardHatesOmicron It is called "brain", sadly current data shows that less than 1% of world population still remember how it is used.
See multiple countries relaxing restrictions now.
Or people who think that covid swab means something else than "at the precise time you had the swab you weren't positive YET"

meh
around here it's to the point where you can just assume you and everyone around you have it
everyone at the office has had it or been exposed to it and showed symptoms but went untested in the past month
