Over on Ask Ubuntu, I came accross a post that would normally have been downvoted and made Needs Detail or Clarity, but it was mostly a rant, and has tons of swearing (the title was "Why the f*** can't I...", and the post itself has profanity too). I flagged it as Rude or Abusive. Soon after, it was deleted and was downvoted to -6. But it made me wonder, when a post is heavily downvoted, gets deleted (for moderation), and gets Rude or Abusive flags, why isn't the OP automatically suspended?

I'm not saying they should be, just wondering what the reasoning/rationale is

Ask on their meta, or their chat. If they have a lot of good contributions the mod may be discussing how long to suspend, and it may come after a conference, if it's network wide they might be awaiting a CM, if their first is just noise they might get deleted or a last warning.

From the sounds of it, it was community deleted; the mods probably haven't seen it yet.
