@mickmackusa One user kinda does have a point with the whole "I'd like to have space for edits in the queue for folks to change newer, badly written posts" but there's no reason why one should reject there. If the edit improves the post and the changes themselves aren't unnecessary, why reject it?

I could see rejecting a suggested edit on an off-topic post that's bound for deletion (we have that happen uncommonly on this site), but...

Doesn't apply to anything in that question.

@Spevacus So does Stack Exchange want to make a decree that only people who are sufficiently aware of all "close reasons" (such as duplicates) should be allowed to suggest edits? On the other hands, we could look at it like: "Okay, you suggested a reasonable edit to a page that should go away -- here is your +2, thanks for bring it to our attention -- we'll begin the process of closing and deleting the page." ...in the realm of acting on good faith.

The reviewer's response: matigo and Paul - the work to be done ought to have been flag it as NAA instead of bumping the question.

The OP, who posted one question several years ago and never came back, gave a bad answer to their poor question and accepted it.

Describing the reviewers as having "poisonous/fallacious philosophies" is a good way to receive no further replies from them as to why they took specific actions while reviewing.

@Rob agree, there are many such "fakes" in Israel, usually private brand of supermarkets that they sell cheap and buy even cheaper from countries like Turkey.

So the supermarket making sure the fake looks like the original, removes the original from the shelves or bury it in some hidden place, then boasts how its private brand sells well.

Not really the case with my coffee delivery, just related.

(delivery which by the way still didn't arrive)

Apparently getting one with inexpensive yet good quality seals is the trick (or a screw-on lid that's easy to use), you don't want to lose too much of the money you are saving with time spent fiddling with it, and low quality seals that are expensive.

@Rob In all honesty, I did not know that the +2 from an approved edit is removed when a post is deleted. But that works in favor of my argument -- just approve a good edit to a bad post if the edit is an improvement. If the +2 goes away, then it was for a good reason -- not because the editor could not differentiate between a good post and a bad post.

How is it that I only see 4 suggested edits in the queue and I have 5 pending edits. I was under the impression that Ask Ubuntu was hitting their daily limit, but I count only 9; and only 3 reviewers today. imgur.com/a/LnPvEQX Am I missing something because of my low rep?

@Rob why are you talking about Not An Answer when I only suggested an edit of the question?

@Rob Why would I need further replies from them? They already offered their fallacious justifications for their review.

@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 Yes, I assume it removes my own, but I don't know if I am more confused by the count being off or the count being very, very low. I was under the impression that the reason my pending edits weren't being ruled-on was because the edit queue was teeming with suggested edits.
