Not sure how it works, but facts are very simple: it did stop the COVID wave in Israel.
From 10k new cases per day we dropped to less than 1k now.

@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 Yes, I have already linked Thankyou post

Without any new limitations, only vaccine to many people.

@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 oh! I think death ratio may get reduced
@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 true

@Pandya this too, yeah. Patients who need hospital reduced in like 80% as well.

@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 This is not less than a boon :)

Overall Israel didn't do great, with 8k dead over population of 9M.
But could be worse...
And of course, with new variants new wave will surely come at some point. :/

@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 Yes, still let's hope it will not hike death-ratio

Btw, this time dengue is also affecting more people in India

@Pandya dengue? What's that?

Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne tropical disease caused by the dengue virus. Symptoms typically begin three to fourteen days after infection. These may include a high fever, headache, vomiting, muscle and joint pains, and a characteristic skin rash. Recovery generally takes two to seven days. In a small proportion of cases, the disease develops into a more severe dengue hemorrhagic fever, resulting in bleeding, low levels of blood platelets and blood plasma leakage, or into dengue shock syndrome, where dangerously low blood pressure occurs.Dengue is spread by several species of female mosquitoes...

@Pandya nasty, sorry to hear... with COVID around the world we almost forgot there are other nasty stuff...

Even polio still occurs, despite being eliminated 20 years ago in most parts of the world. Quite the story behind it ... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polio#Epidemiology
