Q: What content from this site was detected as "malware" in the data dump?

gparyaniFor context: about every month, Stack Exchange publishes an XML data dump of all posts and comments on all sites to the Internet Archive, so that all CC-licensed content is retained in a permanent archive. It seems like in the latest data dump, some content from this site, Monero, was recognized as

hey you can be pinged again :)

meta.stackexchange.com/revisions/335026/8 @SonictheAnonymousHedgehog Especially if that's true, then please don't make edits just to create 'tickets'.

You're skewing the statistics that way, and creating 'unfair' work.

@Tinkeringbell Yeah, it's not something I'd do after I got such confirmation a couple weeks ago. I did it here because it had been put under bounty several times with no further staff response, so I thought the bounties weren't enough to get it back onto SE's radar.

Well, that's still no excuse to circumvent things, and try to jump the queue, if you ask me.

Okay, I won't make edits on posts tagged prior to March 15, 2020 unless it's substantive, or if I've posted an answer to it and am making an edit to qualify for the Illuminator badge.

8:08 AM
@SonictheAnonymousHedgehog I've been keeping track of the post - and well, I think its as much as "Its politics" and "wording things to keep everyone happy is hard" over "people in the company forgot about it". I posted as much for community awareness and discussion (and the bounties do help) as much as changes in wording.

Make sure the ones for illuminator are also substantive.

If in future, there's a review, people are going to remember. Sometimes, its about the long game ;)

Otherwise you're just gaming the system, which is bleh.

Ah Tink, you might be able to help, or any other Dutchy lurking here ;)

Q: What word to use as a translation of the Dutch "handelingsperspectief"?

LuuklagI'm translating a piece of text form one of my co-workers and we couldn't come up with a proper English word for the Dutch term "handelingsperspectief". According to various sites a translation would be "action perspective" but that is a very literal translation, so I guess there must be a decent...

@Luuklag From your examples, I would just pick 'options' or 'range of options'.
"The available options range from running away to hitting back"

@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 and now I'm back ;)

@JNat yay!
@Rob nope. Only basic.

@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 But yours has been subject to close inspection:

1:32 PM
@Rob dangerous with fish, sharp bones.

Rob
That would wake you up.

Depends where they hit, some parts are less sensitive to pain than others.

Rob
It seems fairly sensitive to pain:
> "... the seasoned fish is most commonly formed into patties similar to quenelles or fish balls.".

2:22 PM
@Rob when people do that - one wonders if they didn't get enough sleep and how the working conditions are...

@JourneymanGeek If its in 'Murica its probably his second or third job of the day

2:54 PM
@Luuklag heh
And the whole "Oh, could you cover"....
mainly cause of a shortage of workers

@Luuklag according to the census only 7.2% of job holders work multiple jobs in America (from 1996 to 2018 on average), so I beg to differ :)

Whatever is causing this, it's probably unhealthy.
Whether that's working a second job, a third job, not getting paid enough, or staying up late gaming instead of sleeping.

i mean
or raising a child
school,

Sure, we can list them all :D Just like pokémon XD

@JourneymanGeek Always have one more worker than you need, and all your staffing problems will vanish :P

2:57 PM
@cairdcoinheringaahing practically its have one less...
@Tinkeringbell Or working entirely random shifts...

Or drinking coffee at the wrong moments
Partying

though...

though?
You probably need to finish that thought.

What thought?

The one starting with "though..."

@Rob I blame Narcolepsy... or Hypersomnia
Narcolepsy is a long-term neurological disorder that involves a decreased ability to regulate sleep-wake cycles. Symptoms often include periods of excessive daytime sleepiness and brief involuntary sleep episodes. About 70% of those affected also experience episodes of sudden loss of muscle strength, known as cataplexy. These experiences can be brought on by strong emotions. Less commonly, there may be vivid hallucinations or an inability to move (sleep paralysis) while falling asleep or waking up. People with narcolepsy tend to sleep about the same number of hours per day as people without, but...
Hypersomnia is a neurological disorder of excessive time spent sleeping or excessive sleepiness. It can have many possible causes such as seasonal affective disorder and can cause distress and problems with functioning. In the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), hypersomnolence, of which there are several subtypes, appears under sleep-wake disorders.Hypersomnia is a pathological state characterized by a lack of alertness during the waking episodes of the day. It is not to be confused with fatigue, which is a normal physiological state. Daytime...

I couldn't find anything on it (maybe there is), why is that checkbox grayed out? That's an edit outside the review queue and could be a minor edit

Was there another edit made prior to yours? If so, maybe that person ticked that box?

I think it means that the edit is currently on the Suggested edit review queue, and thus currently being reviewed.
And yes, the editor checked it.
And someone needs to reject the edit first if they want to edit without putting it on the Reopen queue

@MetaAndrewT.: I have editing privileges (I have all of them :D)
@Spevacus there was, but not pending

Could you provide the link to the question?

3:29 PM
certainly sorry, HYG: aviation.stackexchange.com/q/87575/14897 though it was just reopened, hopefully that doesn't affect you looking into it
and by just I mean 1 min ago
actually sorry no, there was no edit before mine! even stranger (@Spevacus )
there was a comment, and an edit on Jun 12

I c

Yeah, that was weird. Didn't see any suggestion edit either on the timeline. Is it becaused it had accumulated some Reopen votes already? So that whatever the edits are, they will be reviewed on the Reopen queue?
Wait, I didn't see Reopen queue either on the timeline...

Yeah I think that's the case. If it's either reopen-review-bound or currently under reopen review then that's by default ticked.

it had 3 reopen votes, mine was the 4th, but I made the edit outside the queue, and then voted Reopen and not Edit and reopen
huh! you're right, reopen votes but no reopen queue! I'll prove there was a queue one moment:

Oh, it just appeared on the timeline, after the Reopen queue was complete (+ caching)

3:39 PM
@Spevacus RE currently under reopen review then that's by default ticked. I'd say possibly, unintuitive at first, but yes quite possibly indeed
thanks for the help @Spevacus and @MetaAndrewT.

No problem!

@JourneymanGeek Ah, that explains a few things :)

@ymb1 no prob!

there it is! the star trek ping I came for :D

@ymb1 pingy ping pingggg

3:44 PM
<huge smile>

It's also my boss's text tone (when texted by a coworker). So I sometimes double-take because I think I have my earbuds turned too high if I'm not wearing them and they're sitting on my desk.
He sits fairly close to me.

:D my phone is boring, might steal that

4:19 PM
@Spevacus Mine is a steam horn...

4:29 PM
70 messages moved to Chimney

@rene It's been a long time since I've seen a move this big.

Yeah, I'm not online during the day for reasons

Oh, not just you...
Just searched chat... last move that was bigger than this one was in May ;)

I think I might have had ones that were > 100 and then it takes two calls to complete

4:33 PM
I need bigger glasses

I think the most I've ever seen moved at once is ~250
(Not Chimney, in any room)

@bobble re: Your retag: I'm pretty sure the tag is for error messages that Stack Exchange itself shows, not errors thrown to the console or etc.
Though I'd like your thoughts before I just remove the tag

Feel free to take it off

Is there any search function or userscript that allows you to only look at posts that you haven’t voted on? (I looked here but couldn’t find anything)

@EkadhSingh-ReinstateMonica this came up on Stack Apps, not completely what you ask but maybe helps finding a better one: stackapps.com/questions/6755/…

Thank you @rene, I’ll see if I can use it to find something :)

@Spe That ^ was supposed to be reported here until Sept 10th. BTW: fits.

10:06 PM
@Rob Damn, you're correct. I should have posted it there. Thanks for the reminder.

Rob
I'll leave it to you to find a post from that user and get them to undelete, they're not pingable here @Spe
You can close as a duplicate of the question, you don't need the answer; though you might edit your question to include the 10K link. Brings more attention to it.

I need some help from the pros
If I had a question that had let’s say 5 upvotes and 10 downvotes and from some reason a week later I still see it being negative on my rep should I just delete the question ? It didn’t have any answers just comments

@JcbJoe Eh, it depends. In terms of your rep, that's still a positive number. It really depends on whether you think it's useful. +5/-10 could just be controversial, but still useful.

Ok thanks

11:47 PM
@JcbJoe I'd say leave it be (deletion still has a negative effect) and try to understand where it went wrong
If its going to be deleted, it might be automatically done so by roomba (a bot that cleans up low scored, unanswered, unloved questions)

Rob
@JcbJoe It's (5*10)-(10*2) reputation (unless you lucked out, had 1 rep, and got the downvotes first), and -5 score (entirely different from "reputation"); but deleting a negative post can increase your difficulties when facing a question or answer ban, since you might have trouble finding the post that needs to be improved to dig you out of the hole.
