@Feeds happy to see articles now give rep! at first I thought it didn't matter... it took me a while to realize I preferred documenting stuff in Q&A format because I'd get rep
I think they should have gone with +15 +20 instead of +10... because it's very common on internal Q&As to get an upvote both on the Q and the A
@JourneymanGeek heh, I don't think people optimize only for rep on an internal environment... especially if it's work related, usually the #1 concern is remaining employed :P
Hmm. Wow. I made a question, it got answered, and I took a break from Stack Exchange for 3 weeks. I come back and the question has 28 more upvotes, and 4k views. The most views I've ever had on a question. Must have been a good question! And now I have 404 more rep in Aviation Stack Exchange than 3 weeks ago. But, now I have a first questions tab.
And I have no idea what to do with it. Like, how do I know when it is the best time to close a question for example?
Wait and I also asked a second question 3 weeks ago, which also has 4k views now, and 17 more upvotes.
Oh my, and I have 5 silver badges! What a surprise! I must have asked 2 really great questions. I really didn't think they'd be so interesting to the Aviation Stack Exchange community, but now many people in that community are answering and commenting the questions. I need to get used to this.
