I have the impression a lot of roles acquire the title "manager" without actually managing stuff like a project manager does. At least I hope that is the explanation.

@Luuklag if you are an architect by profession then you have all the rights to be upset seeing these low-brow information-architect, process-architect, performance-architect and worse of all lead-architect job titles.

@JourneymanGeek I don't find that odd. When we hire people in our company we might have an opening for position A, but if the applicant is really more suited for position B we would hire them for that. Even if there is no explicit offering for position B, but we could do with some extra hands there.

Well, yes. it first refused to fix my link and once I gave in and removed the troublesome url parts I noticed my stack snippet was no longer a correct stack snippet. I had to edit in the language parts again.
But it is mentioned in the announcement post that snippets are not supported. Me not being able to read or remember crucial info is the real problem here.
@ShadowWizardisVaccinating True :P It's a particular kind of noisy, the heavy barks of a big dog vs the annoying higher pitched ones of a smaller one :P
@ShadowWizardisVaccinating yeah, she didn't add any symptoms so officially not covid suspected... now, I'm still a bit worried about an unexplained fever, but we'll keep monitoring her. Thanks for asking :)
@g3rv4 cheers, and while not a doctor, I can tell you that both our daughters had fever many times when young (until age of 3), usually just for one day, and it just went away all on its own. So looks like it's just something that happens, no need to worry too much. You give her something to lower the fever? (e.g. syrup)
@ShadowWizardisVaccinating same here, just use some kids "paracetamol" (asprin in english?) and usually they feel much better the next day. Could be just some flu they picked up somewhere
@Luuklag good to read :) we're new parents and this is the first... unaccounted fever... we've seen. To me, it rings an "infection, infection" scary bell
Paracetamol is seriously dangerous when overdosed, very safe when not. I assume you have to be careful with children with the dose because they are much smaller
@g3rv4 check the toddler for rash on her body, we once had case of fever and rash, turned out to be some nasty virus that required antibiotics. But otherwise, nothing to worry about if it's just fever.

@g3rv4 when in doubt just call your GP, their more then happy to tell you not to worry too much. And if there's any reason for concern theylll tell you to come over.
@Luuklag never used those, it just feels... terrible, not something I want to do to my kids, though it's only mental, I know it doesn't really hurt. Luckily we were always able to give the syrup, somehow.
Another huge downside is the absolute power given to the company employees. They can demand whatever salary and bonuses they want, and they'll get it, because otherwise they'll bring Israel back to the Stone Age.
@ShadowWizardisVaccinating I live in the dark, like any cat can see in the dark too, and only use electricity for essential things like electronics, cooking and coffee. - My bill (one person) is average $25 per month.
