as for the latter, I would guess it would look at the tags for the question ?

Big part of the high prices is just people being greedy, no need to dig deep.

They charge a lot because they can, and people pay.

And what they do with the extra money they get? Find more ways to increase the prices, e.g. squash any chance of competition.

You can see it in action when you shop. If the price is high the shelves are stuffed and the product just sits there; go back in a few days and almost all of it is still there. Go back in a week and there's probably a small reduction, but still little gets sold. Then about a week or two later the price gets slashed and the shelves are emptied in a couple of days.

She will be six and half when she'll start primary school, which is common.

@Rob not surprised he has no diamonds. Lots if staff don't. They quit handing that out to every staff member a couple of years back. As most staff has no real use for a diamond.
