@JourneymanGeek Could you please reopen and re-close meta.stackexchange.com/questions/359863/… so only the correct close reason shows?

Yeah, that was odd; I was 2nd and the prior reason was only applicable to one site. But if that's supposed to be a misuse, to provide some kind of helpful hint, it doesn't specify the site and the question is poorly formed (and should be closed until edited). Must have been a misclick and a failure to withdraw their close vote ....

@SonictheCuriouserHedgehog we are generally not doing that

Hola
The great Baby Naruto joined the chat.
Anyone good at composing queries at data stackexchange?
I am not sure why I am not able to get "AAR" result as float(upto two digits after dot) here

9:00 AM
@TheLittleNaruto convert(decimal, count(id)) otherwise you keep working with integers and those don't do fractions by design.

9:15 AM
@rene Thank you

A question concerning the Citizen Patrol badge:
Why doesn't the requirements page for earning that badge say "First helpful flag", or some such? Shouldn't it be like that, a bit more like the Vexillologist hat?

@Ollie I considered including a feature request for such a change in my answer, but figured it wasn't really relevant in a support question.

@Spevacus Bugger.

I read some comments and there's some talk that the badge is less about encouraging people to flag correctly, and more about simply introducing users to the flag system.

That was asked over 9 years ago. Implementing that would also bring it in line with the Deputy and Marshall badges - helpful flags all.
@Spevacus But maybe having to raise a helpful flag would be a better introduction to the flag system.

There's a philosophical argument to be had for both implementations. Perhaps a whole new badge for such a thing? Start folks off on their helpful flag journey?

6:49 PM
@Spevacus I mean... yeah, but why bother making a whole new badge?

Because MOAR BADGES

What would be a good name for such a badge...

Vexillologist? :P

Hah!

That sounds awesome ;) I guess Yaakov will have to change the hat name if we implement it.

Ugh... more tea :P

I'm strangely craving a milkshake right now.

(I think I drank too much herb tea this week and it gave me runs...)
I want cold water.

It took Smokey a whole 1.3234 seconds to brew that @Tinkeringbell. Drink it.

Can I pretend to slurp it? Like at a kid's tea party? :P

6:53 PM
Chicken slurps... ugh.

@Spevacus Yes, that's exactly right. We just want people to try the feature. Whether it's correctly used or not is irrelevant. And, with just a single flag required, the risk to mods of inaccurate flagging is minimal.

Thanks for the confirmation, and the answer edit :)
