Worse, imagine your smart fridge provider writes you their product is no longer supported effective immediately just after you bought it and that you have to throw it out now

New place will have a 'smart' aircon - but there's another advantage to go with it (and its got a remote/offline control too)

Its hooked into the central/district cooling system so will be cheaper to run and I don't need to service a compressor every few years

On a couple of sites such questions are legitimately asked; on most of our sites such a question includes spam links, an email, or phone number. --- That was given a weight of 0, which turned out to be appropriate. There was a similar MetaSmoke several hours ago, equally false, on the same site.

If there were two or three other reasons this would add an additional reason (even if the weight is zero); and autoflags work by weight and number, with a larger number of flags it could have tripped the automated system. --- Probably better to not show that reason and site here; as such a question is fair there (and on a small number of other sites); but the exclusion mechanism isn't fine grained.

The tech for the chat rooms on chat.stackexchange.com looks kind of old, like Area 51's tech. It doesn't look as new as here, on chat.meta.stackexchange.com.

Is that going to be updated at some point?

@Ollie they are both on the same revision: rev 2020.11.23.898 so you have to be more precise what kind of old means.

@Ollie As far as "rooms" are concerned Mathematics is arguably better than ours and (surprisingly) Latex seems equal to here. If you are comparing the room selection pages make sure that you are on the same tab and sub-tab so it's an apples to apples comparison.
