@MetaAndrewT. wait, really? I've never had that happen...I asked an SO mod once and some mods apparently actually prefer each individual comment flagged
I once flagged like 10 comments on a post...and to be fair, they did decline one flag. But they didn't delete that comment either (which I maintain makes little sense out of the context of the mess they did delete...but it was a good comment, so eh).

@MetaAndrewT. At least comment flags don't count toward flag bans, so having all those declined won't get you banned (but does count negatively toward your daily flag allowance). Flagging the post does count toward a potential flag ban, but only once. So the question is: if your flags turn out declined, what do you value more? Your ability to flag at all in the near future, or your far future ability to flag more times?

Yeah, mechanical keyboards just aren't worth it, considering that you can get seven membrane keyboards for the price of a single mechanical one.
Just for the novelty of it, though, I use a mechanical mouse.

Don't get me wrong, mechanical keyboards are really great, and I'd prefer to have one over a membrane, seeing as I do feel the mushiness of a membrane. But my use cases are such that it's not worth the 7x price increase

I had a core i7 3700 - in between, about 7 years
I've gotten the old girl upgraded on a budget but kinda haven't gotten her running again
(swapped heatsink, added ram, added a 1tb chinese SSD.... got her running and reinstalled the OS... then had to move her and haven't gotten her set up again)
I do have dummy HDMI plugs so running headless is an option now

I have a question. When a flag about serial voting to the moderators is returned with
"We've asked CMs to investigate", and days later I see "Voting corrected" in my tab,
but there are still more that haven't been corrected, should I flag another post,
or wait?

@AnnZen depends for which post or posts you raised that flag. If you made them aware of those in your initial flag then reflagging is just a nuisance. If the serial voting is on posts you didn't point out earlier then a flag on the involved post and links to other posts in the same serial voting spree can be worthwhile.

@rene I think the "request" it refers to (that is 15m apart) is the server's request for a current list of HNQs to present; to me regardless of how often I request (as long as I don't cross the server's 15m line) - so I should have seen the same HNQ List each time, and possibly two different ones; but not 15 different ones.

When a new site launches, things can be out of whack when it comes to favicons for at least a couple days.
However, HNQs are completely randomized on each page load.

A: Incorrect icons on hot network questions

Adam LearApparently we've been looking into this for a while now. :) But, the core problem remains the same - sometimes some CDN nodes end up caching an old image with the new cachebreaker and everything goes out of whack. @user400654 I do work with JS most of the time.
Coralogix is system that handle huge amount of logs, and Fluentd is a system to send log files to remote servers.
Our systems write to log files, this can't be changed - so those files should reach a central place to be stored and analyzed better.
(from dozens of different places, all over the world.)
Sadly, in the first place I tried to implement it, something very odd happens. The logs do reach Coralogix, but only in "bursts" - they're sent for about 15 minutes each time (20k to 100k lines), then.... they stop, for 1-2 hours, then send again. Without any error messages, no hint what's going on.
Since I have no clue if the configurations are correct.... no way to know what's going on. :(
