hm. I actually had a pretty good experience with customer service over fora ._.

I picked up an mp3 player (I spend a lot of time on a train, and music is nice) from drop - its built by fiio. The screen suddenly went upside down. I did a bunch of 'basic' troubleshooting and posted on fiio's forum, and raised a ticket with drop. Fiio confirmed its a hardware issue and drop's giving me a refund.

Well, I said to MAR earlier that Jon Skeet could go around on SO offering 50 rep bounties for half SO's questions and still have about 40K left.

I guess not, now.

any recommended way to signal that X related post (the one that sometimes appear on the side when you look at your own post) and mention that *this isn't related*?

I usually just say it in my post or comment, but if i do so on my post, then it get "linked" instead...

A: Can a Stack Exchange association bonus be lost?

No. It's awarded once per site if you've ever had more than 200 reputation on any of your profiles, with the assumption that you understand the basics well enough to skip most of the initial restrictions. You can't lose this status, nor can you gain it twice.

@202324 If you mean the bug is that it showed your username twice, that's not a bug. If you awarded that answer a bounty twice, then your username will show twice because usernames are not unique. If two gnats (pun intended) awarded a bounty each, and only one gnat showed up, that would be a bug.

This was abused one time too many... As of right now, you have to earn the rep needed to chat; the sum of the 1-point minimum rep for joining 20 sites won't cut it. To be specific... Here's how this works: If you have at least 20 rep on any one site, you have chat privileges on chat.stackexcha...

Still, easier to get.
