@ShadowWizardWearingMask brews a cup of jQuery for @please

@DavidPostill brews a cup of Affogato for @ShadowWizardWearingMask

@Nord you can't have @ in the command
It'll cause Smokey to ignore it.

OH, so i need to use the reply button?

4:13 PM
(as he thinks it's directed to someone else already)

@ShadowWizardWearingMask !!/coffee

@NordineLotfi nope, just a name without a ping, then Smokey add the ping by himself.
!!/coffee Nord without a ping

@ShadowWizardWearingMask brews a cup of Americano for @Nord

@NordineLotfi brews a cup of Latte for @ShadowWizardWearingMask

yeah, i see what you mean :o

when you learn something everyday

@NordineLotfi school!
Preschool to be accurate

@ShadowWizardWearingMask so life = school

4:14 PM
Higher classes weren't so informative. ;)
@NordineLotfi nah, we don't learn anything new every day...
This reminds me, my daughter sent angry letter to Israel's ministry of education because she stumbled over a word that wasn't taught at school.
And they actually got back to her and kind of apologized. :P

@ShadowWizardWearingMask maybe, knowing that you don't always learn everyday (which you notice being true someday/everyday) count as learning
@ShadowWizardWearingMask wow
@ShadowWizardWearingMask that's surprising..would be a miracle if they even answer here

@NordineLotfi yeah here too, maybe because it was so peculiar to them, to get such a letter, from 8 years old girl.
(it was 2 years ago)
!!/punish Nord for not playing WAG anymore

@ShadowWizardWearingMask No such command 'punish'.

:(
@SmokeDetector well there should be! :P

@ShadowWizardWearingMask Ha! yeah, i did planned to, but was kinda busy with my vim/emacs project :/
trying to make some weird stuff so i get it out of my head

4:19 PM
e.g. "Beating @[name here] with a smiting stick"
or "Tickling @[name here]'s nose with a small feather"

@ShadowWizardWearingMask I think we already have the blame command?
could work in this context

@NordineLotfi nah, it's more than just fault.
:D

that sounds poetic
faul tic+?

@NordineLotfi meh, excuse rejected. :P
@NordineLotfi ++

@ShadowWizardWearingMask +-+
never tried that before...wonder if it's a thing as an emoji
Anyone using Emacs/Vim here? just want to show my stuff once it's finished to see ppl reaction :D
it's not gonna be anything special but, i think it might give a few interesting reaction depending on who react

4:26 PM
@NordineLotfi nope
( ◠ ◡ ◠ )
@NordineLotfi react.js?

@ShadowWizardWearingMask didn't know that site :O
@ShadowWizardWearingMask react.jpeg?
(⚈᷀᷁ᴗ⚈᷀᷁⁎)
@ShadowWizardWearingMask how come mine is smaller than yours?
I'm guessing font but yours is rendered slightly bigger hmm

@NordineLotfi me neither! lol
Just Googled for list of text based emojis. :D
@NordineLotfi umm
I can give you some tips, but there're kids here.
:P
anyway, dunno, I just copied and pasted, yours appear as blank squares to me.

@ShadowWizardWearingMask (-‸ლ) should have saw that one coming

@ShadowWizardWearingMask blank squares? then this might be font problem yeah (since i have font awesome, as well as basically every fonts in Ubuntu repositories
maybe it reformat it once it's in my clipboard

4:33 PM
@NordineLotfi nah, you still don't know me well enough...... :P
Now you know. ;)

I see squares on windows too

@NordineLotfi yup, no awesome in my fonts. :D
I did use font-awesome on some sites, but always imported from external site.

looks funky on android

@ShadowWizardWearingMask :O

@NordineLotfi close your mouth, you might swallow a fly by mistake. :P

4:35 PM
@ShadowWizardWearingMask :| like this?

(or @M.A.R, but he tastes better than a fly)
@NordineLotfi yup that'll do. :D

@ShadowWizardWearingMask missing the S? for M.A.R.S

@NordineLotfi nah, @M.A.R. is some chemical compound, forgot which
@M.A.R also love pings, like you, @Nord
(and me!)

@ShadowWizardWearingMask I see :D

We're all Ping Lovers.

4:37 PM
I don't mind ping, but i don't mind spam either
that's why i don't redact my email address on site i post it on
leave you some stuff you could read when you're bored
(some spams are decently making their email interesting sometimes)

Hey guys! If somebody could start a bounty on my question (meta.stackexchange.com/q/353961/846219) it would be great.

@NordineLotfi lol you're weird in a good way. :D
(coming from a proven weird person - ask anyone here... ;))

user707129
@rene Thanks, exactly what I was looking for.

user707129
@technastic_tc Can't you start a bounty yourself?

4:52 PM
I have pretty low reputation... I am kinda confused if I should decrease it even further :|

@ShadowWizardWearingMask Thanks ;)
@ShadowWizardWearingMask I guess great minds do think alike

5:11 PM
@NordineLotfi think alike and look alike... ;)

@ShadowWizardWearingMask :D

Is there any way for me to get a sites URL from it's "api_site_parameter"?

7:38 PM
@Daniil call the /sites/ endpoint and search in items for the object that matches your api_site_parameter and then take the site_url property. Do know that endpoint allows for a pagesize of 500 so you only need one call to get all sites.

8:01 PM
@rene pagesize is unbounded on that one
I tend to use 9999

@ArtOfCode Hmm, okay. I remember I tested it once to go beyond infinity and then it barked at me so I assumed 500 was a safe number ...

@rene woof?

@JourneymanGeek No, arf.

8:22 PM
@Spevacus It's fine. I just don't check notifications over Saturday. I do sometimes (usually) leave my computer running, though, so it'll look like I'm online but I won't actually see anything.
I don't mind getting the notifications, it's just that you might want to be aware that I won't act on them on Saturday. :)
(And this week Sunday as well, but that's more unusual.)

9:05 PM
Gotcha :)

9:18 PM
@technastic_tc Bounties are often an ineffective way to get staff attention for posts. They help in getting community input, but not official input. I've written a post on how to better get staff attention: How do I get attention for old, unfixed bug reports and feature requests without official responses here on Meta?

Do we even have audits outside SO?

@Catija yup
I know SU does

A: What are review tests (audits) and how do they work?

Tim PostWhat is the purpose of this test? The test (known as a review audit) is designed to help new reviewers hone their moderation skills, while nudging more experienced users who don't seem to be paying close attention to what they're reviewing. Some people were in the habit of up-voting everything th...

A question:
Could we have a way to show more than a set number of answers on a single question?
Like with the Recently Active Questions page.

9:32 PM
Meaning?

Show 10, 30, 50 items etc etc etc.
Per page.
Some posts, like this have multiple tabs, and I hate going to the next one.

Probably not. 30 is already a huge number since we don't have doomscrolling, it's a ton to load and could impact load times.

10:08 PM
@rene Ok, I thought there would be an easier way than searching every site but thanks for the confirmation.
