@Rob I don't think appointed pro-tempore mods are listed there, since that only list for proper elections.

and CM are free to moderate some sites if they want, as a staff though, not as a community mod.

@MetaAndrewT. I think that the difference on OR.SE was that they had a "pro tempore election", so the pro-temps show as "elected": or.stackexchange.com/election or.meta.stackexchange.com/questions/205/… --- certainly difficult to search without related section (right column).

Animuson says (on post on M.OR.SE) that Parenting.SE is a different model from other sites.

yep, OTOH on QC.SE, there were appointed pro-tempore mods before a pro-tempore election, but then the one from election stepped down, leaving only the appointed mods as the current mods.

@DavidPostill Reminds me of this place I worked at, where the supervisor was near impossible to work for and abusive to others (not quite as bad to me). What he did do was call me in for a half hour and 3/4 a few times. He was so bad to work for, and had yelled maniacally at a couple of other people, that we agreed that I would be leaving after a few days working there. --- Long story short, I got paid the minimum of four hours for each time I went there; resulting in a doubling of my paycheck. ---

Long story longer, a couple of years later the owner dismissed him, they were simply losing too many talented people vs. keeping him in charge.

Those settings are still accessible with Windows 10. But changing that shouldn't affect your font settings at all.

@Ollie If windows 10 - none of that will change the font (there is a graphics display near those settings but it doesn't effect font): check your theme and accessibility options. Those are the only basic settings which can change font display (...and I guess "font" itself to ensure all the available fonts are actually installed)

Second thing to check (presuming the SuperUser reg answer said something like change HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows<varies>\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes) - make sure "ClearType" is off. Otherwise it will override the reg setting in regards to "bold", "italics", and the like

After that - its a reg deep dive and those are never fun. Always end up with the bends when I have to do that

That said, lucky enough MLP is a show that managed to show work pretty well with gender identity.
