Strange. Google included the Stack Overflow sitemap.xml in its results, for example, to this file: stackoverflow.com/sitemap-questions-180.xml which is kind of useless because as that file can only be fetched by the Google Crawler from within the Google network. It is 404 for mortals.

@ShadowKeepsSocialDistance it is strange. You include in your robots.txt that you expect crawlers to read your sitemap.xml instead of wandering off on their own.
