Actually, I shouldn't incorporate any feature requests in the question itself. The things I'd like to see should be answers in and of themselves... Hmm.

@Spevacus It is off-topic for MSE and this chat room, you need to use one of these chat rooms because that Q&A is only about the Triage Queue and only being asked for that site (though there are a few sites with such a queue); it's bound to be CV'd on MSE as applicable to only one site. Also, comments are locked for 25 days for a reason; so bringing it up in their chat might not be appreciated. That's my 2¢, proceed as you wish.

1:42 AM
@Rob It was more concerning review queues as a whole, as I imagine the review queue overhaul will encompass ALL review queues rather than just those on SO. Though, your point on the comments being locked for... Well, more than just the past month, is important to note. Thank you.
For way over a month total*

@Spevacus These Q&A's are linked to our Review Queue FAQ, so might be useful to poke through, while these Q&A's are found from a simple search - people have really beat the subject to bits over the years, a great idea is welcome ... otherwise you know the DV hell. Write up an excellent idea and re-read it a few times, see if it's been asked, say how your
idea is better/different. What real problem (stats, please) does it solve?

@Rob Gotcha gotcha. Thank you for breaking it down like that. I'll see if I can come up with something.

Q: Survey for Moderators who step down

Cesar MAs Teresa shared on her announcement here on meta, we have finalized this survey and sent it to moderators who recently stepped down. We will be creating a Moderator offboarding process, including a survey and interviews with departing Moderators. Our goal is to take the time to listen to and...

The survey wasn't sent to moderators who later deleted their accounts for obvious reasons (their info was erased). Anyone here in contact with Snow, GlenH7, or Web Head?

@ShadowWizardisEarForYou wait to hear her side, then sue her

6:07 AM
@ShadowWizardisEarForYou It's a mistake, maybe report it to the dean so she gets a warning or accept that people make mistakes and move on
lawsuit? lolno

6:58 AM
@SonictheAnonymousHedgehog I have Snow's Twitter account, but honestly, if they've deleted their accounts they probably don't want to be bothered about it anymore.

7:48 AM
@ShadowWizardisEarForYou I am missing part of the story here. Was it random NSFW stuff or was it a picture of herself? Regardless I am more concerned with her stupidity. Who in their right mind uses their every day messaging tool for something like this... install a secondary one for private usage :s

8:22 AM
@ShadowWizardisEarForYou what age is this?
teachers and techonology is lols btw

8:34 AM
If they're old enough to have whatsapp, they can deal with it
that image is never going to go away, so she's likely going to have to leave her job at the school anyway

@Rubiksmoose eggs with balls. Literally.
I'm still trying to understand what that means.
Chicken eggs with human "balls"?

@JohnDvorak You don't see that when you're on a team
:D
What might be a better placeholder tho?

Leave it out entirely?
I get your point

@JourneymanGeek I'm pretty sure not to share naughty pictures though ;)

11:29 AM
@Gimby Oh, I don't share those.
And in theory if I did, I'd use a spare line/phone

@JourneymanGeek I'm in the C group

@rene SO has enough questions and it feels noisy
also, it might have unintended concequences for moderation and is confusing

@terdon yes
It's an old NSFW meme, found it for example here (NSFW WARNING), such things circulate through WhatsApp groups like chain emails used to do... Anyway, today was quiet in the parents group, probably all waiting until the holiday is over. (couple of weeks, then quarantine should also be eased and maybe even school opened again).
@djsmiley2kStaysInside 9 (fourth grade, primary school)
@djsmiley2kStaysInside that's too true... :/
@M.A.R. nah, my daughter didn't even pay attention to the pic. No basis for lawsuit. ;)

@ShadowWizardisEarForYou ouch that's pretty young to be seeing something...

Pretty sure most kids didn't realize what they see.

if it was that meme, then yeah they won't know

@Magisch other parents already reported to the school manager.
@Gimby random stuff she got from someone else, it was forwarded to the kids group.

1:34 PM
@ShadowWizardisEarForYou Yeah, so stupid. But to me a side effect of rushing into directly opening a 24/7 digital communication channel between teachers and students.

@ShadowWizardisEarForYou I pity the poor teacher

1:51 PM
@Gimby well she joined the kids groups only recently, when the Corona crisis began. Before that she wasn't part of the group.
That's the response she sent, to one of the other parents. @Mith can read it, I'll try to translate...
Subject: Picture sent by an innocent mistake
Body: "I sent a picture in the kids WhatsApp group by mistake, honest mistake, and it caused a turmoil. I wanted to say that I am sorry. Happy Holiday."
Well, at least she admits the mistake and posting a real apology....
@M.A.R. yup... and the kids, who won't have a teacher who knows them - that teacher was with them since the first grade.
(she's the "main" teacher, dunno what's the word in English)
:/

2:31 PM
@ShadowWizardisEarForYou Ah, OK, so not something actually sexual as such. Just naked. I admit the response seems a little too relaxed, but at least it's not a traumatic image or anything.

eh, I'd say it is more disturbing than mere bare skin. I do admit I wasn't actually disturbed though.

true, and certainly not the kind of thing you'd send to children! I was just afraid it would have been graphically sexual or something.

Still counts as explicit, doesn't it?

Huh. I wouldn't call it explicit, but that might just be my own definition. For me, "explicit" requires clear sexual connotations, not just nakedness.
> open in the depiction of nudity or sexual
That would cover both, I guess.

Just showing genitalia out of context doesn't count? TIL.

2:41 PM
@JohnDvorak Not for me, personally. But I don't claim that this is a globally agreed upon standard.

2:55 PM
It's in the gray zone... Or in that case, pink zone... :P

@ShadowWizardisEarForYou Meh, that shouldn't be too big a deal, although our education differs a lot from yours

@terdon well it's explicit only on second look. Teacher sent a better explanation to the school principal.

I can understand that parents go full ham though, its still your kids that are involved. Before you know it you get pegged as a bad parent because you let it go too easily.

She said she got the image from someone, and didn't even opened it in full view. The small version looked to her like two eggs attached together and only after she started to get angry emails and messages she saw the full image and realized what it is.
@M.A.R. different how? No main teacher?

@Gimby Oh sure, it's very easy to be blasé about it when it isn't your kid.
Or your genitalia, one would imagine.

3:01 PM
@ShadowWizardisEarForYou Hmm, I dunno, modern/western education looks way more cooperative and light. Our education differs very little up until the end of high school
And after that . . . It still differs very little
Children sit down on chairs or benches and the teacher gives them a conference
@M.A.R. "change" is a better word

3:18 PM
I don't like the topic.
Disgusted!

3:39 PM
@M.A.R. yup

🍳

@terdon well two other parents agreed with me when I was "the voice of reason" in the group. All the rest... Not so much...

Somehow, that doesn't surprise me... :)

Anyway, the teacher isn't going to be suspended for now, the school principal will track the class and the teacher personally from now on though.

Eh, he probably wants more funny memes, the old lecher! :P

I know how my fourth-grade class would have reacted to that: spontaneous outbreaks of giggling for the next week.

@ShadowWizardisEarForYou No, just someone familiar with how fourth-graders think.

10:20 PM
@Mark oh lol. Well, based on the (lack of) response in the kids group they are more innocent than you (and I) think. They just don't realize what it is, and guess it's a good sign.

11:13 PM
@Shadow Passover is coming soon?

11:57 PM
@SonictheAnonymousHedgehog yes, tomorrow evening.
The holiday itself is two whole days

@ShadowWizardisEarForYou I wonder why B&H is refusing to ship orders until April 17. (Not because of COVID-19, but because of Passover.)

Then a week of... @Mith how to translate חול המועד? Then another two days of holiday next week.
@SonictheAnonymousHedgehog what's B&H?
If Israeli then yes, many don't work during Passover, regardless of Corona.
